At the Hotel Albert II Oostende, the use of a gym, a children's corner and wireless internet is free of charge. There is also a cosy bar and lounge in the hotel. The former Hotel George V changed ownership in 2008 and since then hotel was totally renovated and renamed the Hotel Albert II. All rooms have a bath or shower, toilet, hairdrier, television, safe and coffee and tea making facilities.

Notable attractions in Ostend are the flower clock in the Leopold Park, the Vistrap (fish trap) where you can buy fresh fish early in the morning, the Koninklijke Gaanderijen (royal galleries) and the famous Kursaal at the Albert I promenade dominating the view.
