At the three star Royal Astrid Hotel you can expect a warm welcome. The comfortable rooms have a bathroom with shower or bath and hairdryer, a television and a safe. There is a cosy bar where you can enjoy a drink by the fireplace. The hotel is located near the beautiful sandy beach of Ostend, making it possible to go for an early morning walk on the beach before breakfast.
The spa centre in the hotel (over 500m2) consists of an indoor pool, hot tub, steam bath, salt room, ice room and a panorama sauna. There is also a gym. Hotel guests can use the pool for free, but use of the sauna and steam bath is at a charge. Beauty & Wellness Royal Astrid offers facial care, body massage or a seaweed wrap. The hotel has 13 rooms with a capacity of 10 to 300 people. The underground garage provides parking space for 20 cars - advance reservation is required. Bicycles can be parked for free in the garage.

Ostend is all about wellness and the city offers many opportunities to relax and enjoy yourself. Royal Astrid Hotel Ostend is situated near the beach and of course a nice walk on the beach is also a form of wellness. The sea air is free of pollen and is therefore suitable for people suffering from hay fever. The Japanese garden in the Koningspark called ?Shin Kai Tei?, which means Deep Sea Garden, is a great place to stroll around and enjoy the scenery. At the centre of the garden there is a beautiful pond that's shaped like a turtle.
Food and Drink
The continental breakfast buffet is served between 07:30 and 10:00 in the atmospheric restaurant Mozart.In the hotel there is a cosy bar with a fireplace, which is open from 11:00 until midnight.In restaurant Mozart, guests can enjoy lunch or dinner if they reserve in advance. Lunch is available between 12:00 and 13:00 and you can sit down for dinner between 18:30 and 19:30. If you would prefer to dine in town, there are many options to choose from. Ostend has some charming restaurants that serve good dishes, including fresh fish.

très bel hôtel, service de qualité, piscine bien chauffée et agréable. parking facile dans la rue, et parking indigo à proximité immédiate. plage et digue d Ostende à peu de distance. près du centre ville et tranquillité. Tram à proximité

Very good standard of room, comfortable and clean. Great breakfast included in the price. Great shower.
Mattress moved on bed base. Pillows very hard. Large towel too small.

it was only for one night - luckily !
male receptionist needs to urgently improve his customer care service - we specifically said we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were given a twin room not a double - the toilet was blocked and the towels needed changing - wish I'd gone elsewhere
