Days Inn is a hotel chain headquartered in the United States. Days Inn Rotterdam is within walking distance of the Central Station of this beautiful port city. This relatively new hotel (2018) has double, triple and family rooms. Each room has a private bathroom with a rain shower, a seating area, a desk, WiFi, a flat-screen TV and coffee and tea making facilities.
The rooms are simple but effective and offer you a wonderful accommodation when visiting the Maasstad.
You can park in the hotel's parking garage for an additional fee (€20 per day).
Surroundings
The hotel is near the train station and the metro. You can also walk straight into the center of the city. The Beurstraverse ('De Koopgoot') is 1 km away. Here you can fulfill all your shopping wishes. You can also take a gamble in the Holland Casino (0.6 km) or enjoy a beautiful performance in the Luxor Theater (0.6 km) or in the Rotterdamse Schouwburg (0.9 km).
Food and Drink
An extensive breakfast buffet is available at the hotel. You can enjoy a cup of coffee or a nice drink in the communal lounge with bar.
Days Inn does not have its own restaurant, but there are plenty of dining options near the hotel. For lunch, Booon (Proveniersstraat 31) is a good option. For dinner you can go to Eetcafé Schieland at Schiekade 770 or to Turkish restaurant Munzur (Schiekade 131).
A must in the center is De Markthal Rotterdam (1.3 km). This beautiful building houses, among other things, many catering establishments where you can eat delicious, whatever your culinary taste.
