Nettes Hotel in zentraler Lage

Schön, dass wir ein Zimmer mit Balkon hatten. Die Lage ist super. Zum Strand und zur Stadtmitte sind es nur ein paar Schritte.

Location is perfect. Right next to the station without any of the noise. Feels like a home away from home. Its close to absolutely everything in Amsterdam.

Beachcombing and Cycling in Beautiful Zandvoort

The owners extremely helpful at check-in, there is not a safe in the room but we were able to use office safe for our passports. Short walk to train station - taxi not required. Breakfast adequate, fresh and plentiful.

All rooms up a flight of stairs - no lift. Breakfast starts at 8 am - would prefer an earlier start.

“My tip: We had dinner at the beach - Beach Club Tien and Thalas 18 both excellent - great service, wonderful food and beautiful sunsets. We rented bikes from Versteege Wielersport - one of the few stores that take Viisa credit card. We cycled to Haarlem - bike paths and excellent signage are excellent in the Netherlands.”

Excellent location to train if wanting to visit Haarlem or Amsterdam. Also a short walk to the beach and shops.

The morning staff seemed to watch over you when having breakfast. A bit unsettling.

Incredibly close to both train station and bus stop. Staff reasonably friendly. Most rooms have a balcony. Easy walking distance to Zandvoort beach.

No cold drinks for sale from the bar, just luke warm ones. Also only ice available in ice cube trays so unable to get an ice bucket. Wine choice in bar also poor.

Good, comfy hotel

Beds were really comfortable. Room very clean and tidy.

A little pricey for out of season especially with the amount of competition. I should have haggled. Room had no tea/coffee facility ... but had I asked I am sure I could have got a tea/coffee from the restaurant area in the evening as staff were always around and contactable.

Great break - we'll be back!

This is a family-run hotel and the family were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. It is less than five minutes' walk from the seafront, about the same from the town centre, and the train station was right behind the hotel. There were four trains an hour - two to Haarlem and two which continued on to Amsterdam. The service ran until past midnight, so it was possible to have a night out in either city. There was no inconvenience from the noise because they were very quiet modern locomotives. Our room was small but adequate, and it had a very pleasant balcony. The hotel has not got a car park, but provided a free parking pass which allowed us to park in the station car park, the street alongside the hotel or in other nearby streets. We will certainly return.

Close to the centre and easy to find

Hotel in need of a complete refurbishment. Room smelled a bit. Put up with it for a couple of nights but had to endure a lot of noise on last night including guest next door having his TV on all night. Turns out hotel was full of male Touring car fans staying to see the racing at the local circuit.

Family run hotel, friendly, great location for access to city centre,railway station and to beach.

Nothing particular. Central heating broke down for 1 day, but they got us a small electric heater instead, so it was Ok.

Well placed inside Zandvoort. A stone throw\'s away from the station, then 30 minutes away from Centraal Station in Amsterdam (1 train every half hour). Incredibly nice and friendly staff. Nice breakfast.

This is a fun, old fashioned family hotel run by an attentive and pleasant family. Our quad room was comfortable and good value-- close to the train station and beach. It was quiet and peaceful- would gladly return again.
