The luxurious Librije's Hotel is established in Zwolle's historic, former female prison, Het Spinhuis. It was built in 1739 and has since been completely restored and refurbished. Naturally, outstanding service and hospitality are held in high regard, as guests may expect from De Librije. Staff will personally do their utmost to make sure your every wish is met.
Besides 19 spacious rooms and suites, all of which come with every modern convenience, the hotel also houses the restaurant, Librije's Zusje, the cookery and wine school, Librije's Atelier, and Librije's shop. Surroundings
Zwolle prospered into one of the most influential Hanseatic cities of the 15th century. Many historic structures originating from this period can still be admired today, including the canals and fortified structures, wonderful façades and magnificent townhouses. The centre of Zwolle still exudes an atmosphere of times long gone. You can easily explore the city on foot from Librije's Hotel.

You can wake up to an incredibly elaborate breakfast, available Wednesday to Sunday from 08:00 until 10:30.Within the atmospheric ambience of the three-Michelin-starred restaurant, De Librije, you can relish exceptional dishes and superb complementary wines.Pure ingredients from local suppliers form the basis of its cuisine. De Librije is situated on the courtyard of Librije's Hotel; a place where prisoners were once permitted fresh air. What's more, the Chef's Table in the restaurant offers a truly unique experience. With a view of the kitchen, it is ideal for groups of 6 to 16 persons. In addition, the adjacent Thorbecke Salon is suitable for guests wishing to dine in a private setting.

Persoonlijke service; Prima kamer waar aan alles gedacht lijkt te zijn; Belangwekkend gebouw dat voor dit nieuwe doel uitstekend is aangepast; Een ontbijt om nooit meer te vergeten.
De bar in de gewelfde kelder was wel een beetje erg donker.
