Modern and special hotel - not for everyone but I liked it a lot

Great at ground floor level

Very impressive modern urban hotel seen at ground floor level. Check-in was good. Breakfast was good. Free wifi and the availability of PCs on the ground floor was good. The lounge areas were good. The room had a lovely big bed.

Just a bit too quirky when you reach the bedroom. Very little hanging space and no storage space except under the bed. The shower and toilet pods would work better if there was a little more overall space. In the restaurant bar area, when we asked what hot food was available, the barman pointed in the direction of a covered pot and said, That . Not very helpful

Service was great Easy to get to town...but not located right in the center. Requires tram ride.

Took a while to figure out shower...

Easy access to Zuid Station (then direct to airport) as well as tram line into town (esp. de Pijp and Leidseplein), making it a nice balance for layover lodging with a night on the town.

A surprisingly different hotel compared to many other city hotels with king sized bed, mood lighting, semi-circular doors for shower and loo. Room was clean, light and gave a sense of space.

Very quiet and very clean. Conveniently close to trains. Friendly staff. Great service. A great hotel for the young and hip who travel light!

Lack of convenience in storage space in the room. While the drawer was ample, it was not convenient to unpack our suitcases completely for the few days we were there, and if we had we would have been tripping over empty suitcases since there wasn't a closet to put them in.

Room very small and annoying no tea/coffee facilities. Too small for more then 1 person

Staff extremely professional, helpful, and friendly

Hallway needed to be vacuumed, shower drips - luggage room could use some shelves - a bit challenging to navigate!

Funky hotel - only share your room with a 'close personal friend'

very 'different' hotel experience design of lobby/living room area & canteen made for very relaxing space staff very helpful & created a relaxed informal atmosphere

curtain in bedroom could be a bit heavier to provide just a little bit more privacy a/c was left on in the room after cleaners so the room was quite cold on return

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The decor and atmosphere was great. I enjoyed my stay very much.

My pillow was too big. It would have been very nice to have a kettle and some cups and glasses in the room.

Room size (it's okay for a night or two, but not more than that). Location was a bit out of the city. No tea/coffee making facility.

toliet being in pod in room is a little too weird. room only got cleaned once in 4 night stay, even when asked one for it to be done one day it still didn't get done! it is not in the city centre of amsterdam as it is sold its a expensive taxi ride 3.5miles from train station

Excellent Hotel, Excellent Location, Excellent Value

The hotel was amazing, the staff were so friendly and helpful - check in was really easy and the location could not have been handier being several minutes walk from the station about 10 minutes into the city centre and 8 minutes to the airport.

A great new concept in home comfort away from home.

Perfect sleeping arrangements, just what I needed. The mood settings were very entertaining. Great to have all the TV channels - felt like home from home.

Could have been more options for food. Couldnt get the alarm to work, a set of instructions for the hand set would have been useful.

Create one in every city please,

We loved this hotel - very space age! The staff (ambassadors) were friendly and helpful , the room was great and it was only 5 minutes from the station - Amsterdam Zuid. There is one opening in Glasgow , my home town, and I will be booking it for a night out in town.

The breakfast was okay but my advice is - unless you are in a hurry go out and find a nice cafe.

Big enough, yet cosy. Stimulated the "inner nerd"!

Cool Unique Design, Wifi availability, Great Staff. Great Location to get in and out of the city. Easy access to Schipol Airport. Air conditioned rooms.

As mentioned the facilities are ultra modern. Only minor complaint was that our shower had a clogged drain that cause water to leak out into the room. Overall, I would stay there again it was a great hotel otherwise.

Quirky fun design throughout the hotel; convenient bar and snacks, great enthusiastic staff.

Bare-bones rooms and missing some basic services, like room service, laundry, and even mailing letters.

CitizenM-raddest hotel ever!

The staff is outstanding! Very friendly and outgoing. Special props: Viola Eleonora for calling a doctor when my son was ill, translation services between the doctor and ourselves, and delivering tea and bread to our room to relieve my son's stomach ache.

There was a mouse in our room.
