Well located and local eating places were very good. Close to museums and shopping with-in 10 minutes to half an hour walk.
Don,t book room 104, noise from alley into hotel and could hear travel bags on the pavement outside the room and cars coming and leaving the hotel.

Very close to The Melkweg. Not too far away from the City centre.

“My tip: Don t use Taxis from the Station. They take a very route, and sting you for nearly 20 Euros for a journey that should only take 5 minutes.”

All things considered, there is very little to quibble about; this is something of a little gem in a wonderful location.
Minor points include additional cost of breakfast and oversights on changing towels and removing dirty glasses.

Good staff and, in particular, those manning the reception who are most efficient.
Shower too weak.

Free internet, big bathrooms, very clean and modern hotel. Hotel is not in the center of the city so not overrun by tourists and you can go to "real" Amsterdam restaurants etc but you are still close to everything, including public transit.
Some reviews suggest that the minibar is free. It definitely is not.

Close to all the important things in Amsterdam via tram and yet set in a quiet cul-de sac so not noisy. Comfortable spacious room. Staff efficient and friendly. Good quality hotel but at a budget price.
No bath, expensive parking, expensive breakfast.

We were in Amsterdam only for two days prior to a river cruise. This hotel provided an excellent location for walking through various parts of the city. We had a comfortable room; the hotel is of nice design and clean. It was also nice to have a bar on site.
I emailed the hotel with questions regarding early check-in due to my flight arrival, and never received an answer. However, we were able to check in upon arrival, so it all worked out.

The male receptionist - sorry, didn\'t catch his name but he is Dutch - was extremely friendly and helpful when we checked in. And the room was very nice and clean, with a huge comfy bed.
1) We were put into room 107, which is not attached to the main part of the hotel, it\'s across the courtyard with a few other rooms. As it is a no-smoking hotel, we had to stand outside in the rain. The hotel thoughtfully provided an ashtray (with a non-smoking tag on it) which we used outside as there wasn\'t one outside the building on our side, and the next day we received a nice letter from reception saying that the cleaning staff had noticed that we had been smoking in our room (not true) and if it happened again we would be \'fined\' 50 euros. If you insist on being a no-smoking hotel, please at least install some proper facilities like a shelter and some seats, this isn\'t a workplace, we were supposed to be on holiday! 2) No coffee or tea making facilities, which is pretty poor considering the room is not in the same building as the main part of the hotel. We were given a kettle etc. when we asked for it, but were told that we couldn\'t get any coffee. So we had to buy our own. That\'s pretty mean considering we paid nearly 500 euros for 4 nights, isn\'t it? 3) Charging 16.50 euros for breakfast is far too much. 4) There was no mirror on or near the dressing table.

Very helpful staff, large room, nice location - central, but quiet. Free internet.
Expensive breakfast (and you don\'t get anything warm), too few places at the parking.

Well located, friendly service, efficient. Rooms worked okay for 7 Gents on a weekend away. Thanks. Overall better value than last years Barcelona accommoation.
Rooms where okay shower needed a little attention, could have benefitted from an extractor to get rid of steam. and abetter shower curtain, the toilet area got very wet. but this is only a minor issue.
