- Loft 1, spacious, luxurious looking room, for an affordable price, bit more than regular. - Friendliest personnel - Near center, though not in the touristic area, everything reachable by foot - Free coffee and tea for guests )
- No negative points
“My tip: Utrechtse Straat, Albert Cuyp, all things Amsterdam, what should I say. ”

Clean room, good breakfast
The room was outside from the hotel and 2 floors down with no windows like a dungeon. Also it was a very small.

Loved the decor, staff were fantastic and breakfast was great
Very cosy small rooms but as long as your prepared for this then it's not a problem.
“My tip: Get the 48/72 hour tram tickets and the whole city is within easy access. ”

Very serviceminded personal Delicious breakfast Good beds
Very much noise from all the trams passing by. sound-isolation between rooms and corridor could be better Very step stairs in the our bouilding. Many 4 stars hotels is cheaper than this 3 stars hotel Very small bathroom and very dark (Poor lightening) XL-rooms should be bigger!

We like the location. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is convenient for the museums and art galleries which was our main purpose. The tram from the station to the hotel is easy. There are good places to eat nearby. The breakfast is good for the amount we paid. We like the youthful ambiance although we are far from youthful ourselves!
The rooms(we have stayed twice) are quite small but we were hardly in the room so not really a problem.

great location for exploring, and staff very frindly and helpful
although room was sold as double, it was very small even for one person. could improve on soft furnishings ie pillows, curtains. room was in basement, vwry dark and dingy, if you open a window you have other guests smoking directly outside( very ucomfortable especially for a non smoker). could hear noise all night from above ie people walking around, furniture etc. also i would have preferred a choice of breakfast, not just a cold buffet; does not cater for other people.

Clean hotel, close to amenities, great for transport if you don't want to walk to the city centre which is about a 20-25minute on foot. The staff we're great and very helpful. The complementary hot drinks was an added bonus, breakfast was not too bad though not hot except for the drinks. The only downside you couldn't swing a cat in the bathroom and there are no shower curtains when you have a shower which leaves the floor wet. We had a basement room, and would have prefered that the decor was a lot lighter which may have given a sense of more light. Overall it was a nice hotel, would recommend and use once again whenever we're back in Amsterdam.
Dark decor in the basement small shower room with no shower curtains

Good staff
For a tiny tiny room in the basement it was very very expensive (I mean tiny)

Amazing breakfast, cool design, friendly staff, our room was incredible, big enough, with a balcony, clean, complimentary tea/coffee/hot chocolate throughout the day, free wi-fi, a walking distance from all the attractions.
Hardly any, maybe the elevator is quite small, we had the room facing the street so could hear the trams regularly, but that's not really hotel's fault. Also, mosquitoes :) But again, hardly the hotel's fault!

1) very friendly and sympathic service team 2) good starting point for exploring the city by feet or tram 3) very good quality of breakfast 4) very good beds
1) design is only "on the surface" (wall papers? - not functional - only nice to look at) 2) "design mirror" in bathroom hangs much too high for little persons resp. mirror in sleeping room is too small 3) "design light" in bathroom is poor 4) a little loud

The breakfast. The design. The quiet location.
The beds are too small and the matresses uncomfortable.

Een fijn verblijf in een mooi hotel, waarvan de ligging prima is. het personeel was goed, en de kamer verder ook. Al het nodige is aanwezig.
Persoonlijk vond ik de bedden te zacht.

location - ideal for sightseeing, restaurants, shopping etc. style - loved the interior design breakfast - excellent selection & great service comfort - felt very much at ease cleanliness service - reception very helpful
size of room cold floors - rugs/ carpets would be better noise level from street - could be reduced with better soundproofing

Quiet and nice, no noise from traffic. Or from other guests. Tram stops just outside, very nice The beds were very comfortable. Excellent breakfast buffet! Every one of the staff was very kind and helpful. Nice with the free internet.
The room (103)was much too small. No chairs and no desk - and no place to store the suitcases.

The size of the rooms are only suitable for dwalf\'s, ie people who are vertically challenged. We have never been to a hotel where it was impossible to hang clothes.jackets, and move about the room without falling over each other. I have 2x cuts to my head banging on the sharp metal shelf in the bathroom. We will not be returning!!!

Customer care from the hotel staff on reception and in the bar were excellent - The rooms were clean and well appointed I would recommend and stay with you again when I next visit Amsterdam
Rooms were very small - the twin room was more the size I would expect a single room to be
