Golden Tulip Strandhotel Westduin is situated within just 50 metres of the beach, in quiet and woody surroundings with a multitude of recreational possibilities. Picturesque villages and monumental towns can be found within cycling distance. The hotel has lots of facilities to ensure a relaxing stay; including a heated indoor swimming pool, a solarium, and a gym that guests can use free of charge. There is also a restaurant, and an atmospheric garden.
The rooms come with every modern convenience to guarantee a pleasant stay. All rooms feature a bathroom, a toilet, a television, a hair dryer, a telephone, a Nespresso machine, a safe, and access to free broadband internet. Furthermore, all rooms have a patio or balcony.
Surroundings
Apart from the charming natural surroundings of Golden Tulip Strandhotel Westduin, historic cities such as Middelburg and Vlissingen are definitely worth a visit as well. In Middelburg, the capital of the province of Zeeland, you can climb the 'Lange Jan' church tower, an impressive 86 metres high. The historic centre of Vlissingen houses 300 official monuments and exudes a maritime atmosphere.

The breakfast buffet is set up on Monday to Friday from 07:00 until 10:30, and at weekends from 08:00 until 10:30. The restaurant is open for lunch on request on Monday to Friday from 12:00 until 14:00. Guests can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner in the restaurant. At lounge @Eef from 12:00 you can delight in tasty dishes and local Zeeland specialities. The restaurant primarily uses organic, local produce.You can enjoy a nice drink in the bar, Paal 15, or order a light lunch in the lounge.

The different and thus distinctive room design. It will not suit everyones wishes, but we liked it. The staff worked well with us in our surprise visit to out parents staying in the hotel.

Wij zijn al een paar keer in dit hotel gebleven voor een (lang) weekend. Zeer goede service, vooral bij het diner werden wij goed geholpen met het menu en de keuzes. De kamers en locatie zijn perfect voor ons.

Reception staff very helpful, restaurant staff in the evening were very slow, and didnt seem want to be there.
Excellent position right on the beach...nice walk into town along the beach.
This is not a minus point BUT just wanted to point out that the pool is very small (incase you were expecting a large one).
Evening meal really disapointing considering the price.Food and service below expectations

Location is nice if you have a car--right near the beach. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast was good.
The shower in our room was clogged. The walls are very thin and we were woken up by noise several times during the night.

Air conditioning could improve room comfort level.
Ground floor terras door could do with special lock for night time, so door can be left open slightly when sleeping.

A very quiet and beautiful location within steps (literally!)of the beach. The buffet style breakfast is impressive. Highly recommended to even the most discerning traveler!
