Hotel la Boheme is a good base for exploring Amsterdam in a short space of time. Enjoy the nightlife in the restaurants, bars and clubs surrounding Leidseplein. The hotel is situated opposite the Nieuwe De La Mar Theatre. Fancy seeing a concert? Then head to the Melkweg or Paradiso, just a short walk from the hotel. The museum district is also easy to reach on foot. See masterpieces by Vermeer, Rembrandt and Van Gogh. Staff at La Boheme are happy to offer you tips and advice and will be able to provide you with plenty of information about this vibrant city's many wonderful attractions.

Steepy stairs, no elevator. Small bathroom. Don't expect any luxury, you 'll get what you pay for and that is very reasonable. Parking is very expensive, so you better use the P+R facilities on the outskirts of the city or use the public transport.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was tastey. Excellent location. Comfortable beds. It felt very secure, with the front door always being locked and a provided front door key when you check in. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Very steep stairs that I had to see to believe. However, after going to other places, I realized that most Dutch stairs are this steep, so it was nothing out of the ordinary.
