Hotel la Boheme is just around the corner from the hustle and bustle of the 'Leidseplein', which is surrounded by nice restaurants, coffee shops, clubs and bars. The location of La Boheme is very convenient if you are planning to visit a theatre show: 'Nieuwe de la Mar Theater' is across the street and at the 'Leidseplein' you will find the 'Stadsschouwburg' (city theatre) and 'Theater Bellevue'. I would stay again!

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was tastey. Excellent location. Comfortable beds. It felt very secure, with the front door always being locked and a provided front door key when you check in. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Very steep stairs that I had to see to believe. However, after going to other places, I realized that most Dutch stairs are this steep, so it was nothing out of the ordinary.

Simple but clean hotel in perfect location for Leidseplein square

This hotel has an excellent location right bang in the middle of the Leidseplein. Our stay was due to a Kim Wilde concert at the Paradiso - perfect spot and located very close to town centre. Staff were very friend and helpful.

Room was quite small but having said that you are paying a cheap price for a perfectly located hotel. Also, the beds do need updating - very soft and felt about 50 years old! Sheets were clean though which was the main thing

In the heart of Amsterdam

The hotel is in the heart of the city. 1 min far from Leidseplein that means the center of the center and with many trams or buses that can bring you everywhere in a few minutes. The owners are more than kindly and the breakfast (included) is quite good (if you leave early in the morning you have to miss it cause they open the bar/restaurant room not before 8.30 AM). Our room was quite big, clean and the bathroom too. The main problems are that if you get a room in the 3rd/4th floor you have to climb a small and uncomfortable stair, the rooms in front of the street can be a little bit noisy and in the bathroom you need shampoo, soap and co. cause there is nothing there (also the toilet paper surely is not the best). All in all at that price if you want to enjoy a good holiday in Amsterdam surely is one the best place to stay.

you cant go wrong with Hotel La Bohem

the location is great-walking distance from dam square and the museums district and just round the corner from lots of bars and restaurants and a wicked club. staff was really friendly and helpful.the hotel was clean and breakfast was decent.we'll definately stay there again if we go back to amsterdam!

we were on the top floor and the climb of 67 steps killed us every time, especially the first time round with our luggage. non smoking rooms

Excellent location, spacious single rooms with access to a rear courtyard despite being at basement level. Rooms cleaned daily and thoroughly. Friendly, helpful, knowledgable staff. Good breakfast included and the free WiFi was a brilliant bonus.

The matress was little soft for my tastes, but otherwise nothing bad to say.

Le Boheme is located about 20 walking distance from the Central Train Station. Many stores, restaurants, a nice commecial area, the lady at the counter is EXREMELY nice with a very nice smile and very understanding.

Location: the hotel is situated near Leidseplein, within easy walking distance of the most beautiful parts of the city. Very friendly staff. Free wireless internet.

When we arrived, the room seemed dirty – there was dust on the edge of wood paneling above beds, on the TV set and on bedside lamps, and a hair in the shower base. The room was so tiny I don’t know how they managed to put two beds in there. Besides, the beds were children’s sized: they could hardly fit us even though we’re not of NBA players height. The sheets haven’t been changed! The room could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The worst sort of bread for breakfast (paper-like toast stuff) and a very narrow range of other foods.
