Good hotel for weekend break in Amsterdam

one day and night in Amsterdam

• + comfy beds and pillows, beautifull varied breakfast. nice surroundings and furishings. excellent service use of pc and printer. toiletries a plus toothpaste would be nice and i didnt get the ironing board as promised i hadnt ironed my clothes thought it was in room, good selection in mini bar
• – my bathroom small, for the room i paid for superior big piece missing off the window ledge in rom 201 rather noisey even with ear plugs provided. not enough tea sugar and coffee in rooms milk would be nice with p.g tips tea bags mini bar too pricey didnt eat in restaurant too pricey or order room service for this reason.

Good for younger couples, great location

• + Great location, great view, lovely rooms.
• – Noisy at night. Two single beds pushed tgether instead of a double! Why do European hotels think this is acceptable for a couple?

Good clean hotel in great location

• + Great location, friendly staff.
• – Can be a bit noisy outside due to being on Remrandtplein but never caused us a problem!

Good Old Amsterdam

• + Well the best things about about this hotel was location,price and cleanliness,room cleaned and new towels every morning,very helpful and welcoming reception,in the heart of Rembrandt away from the noise of the Red Light District but right beside trams that go everywhere and are so easy to use.
• – None that i can think of.

Great hotel, but street noise problematic

• + Professional, friendly staff and comfortable room.
• – For a new hotel, incredibly poor windows that let in all the street party noise. I suggest getting on the higher-up floors and towards the back. At 19 euro, the breakfast was outrageously overpriced. Just 5 minutes' walk down the road (with the tram line, toward the centre) you will find a HEMA shop with a freshly-baked/assembled hearty sandwich and good coffee for about 4 euro.

Wonderful Stay! Reccommend!

• + Great location. There is a great restaurant/pub right next door with outside seating and main tram line access right outside. We got a room on the 6th floor and it was quiet and pleasant. Plus, right near the river Amstel. Will definatly stay here again.
• – During our stay there was construction in teh middle of the street, but since we were out most of the day it wasn't bothersome.

• + very polite, friendly and efficient at the reception. The one and only minus point was that they didn't clean up the bathroom daily.They only changed towels and soaps. Anyway I can hardly raccomend this hotel

NH Caransa - Great Hotel - Good Location

• + Very well located in the centre of Amsterdam. Within 15 mins walk of all attractions. Modern, clean and comfortable. Pleasant staff.

• + The hotel was right in the City centre which was good, as everywhere was in walking distance. All the clubs and bars was just downstairs! Even though it was in such a busy location, it was nice and quiet inside the hotel.

Quality hotel in good location.

• + We found the staff very helpful and polite, the room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Ideal location to reach all parts of Amsterdam on foot.
• – Not for the light sleeper. due to it's location, close to Rembrandt Square, with nightclubs nearby, noise goes on for most of the night.

• + First of all, it's very important for us to say, that we booked the HN Hotels special offer, which offered a great price, and included breakfast as well. We booked the room for 7 days in advance (It was our anniversary), so the hotel was very kind to upgrade our room to a better room - for no additional cost (A nice surprise). The rooms were very indulging, spacious, modern designed When we first arrived, they left us candies, bath robes, bath slippers, a nice small box-game, and different magazines. Their breakfast is amazing - versatile, nice looking and tasty. In terms of location, the hotel is located in one of the main squares in Amsterdam called "Rembrandt-Square".
• – The hotel is located in one of the main squares in Amsterdam called "Rembrandt-Square". It's the tourist's zone so on weekends there's many people passing by. Although their windows (those with a square view) have thick glass, still it was A beat noisy on weekends' night, but it was bramble. The rest of our staying (Including in the mornings) was quiet.
