Hotel Casa 400 Amsterdam is easy to reach by car as well as by public transport. From the nearby Amstel Station (3-minute walk) you can reach the heart of the centre in just about 6 minutes. There you will find all sights of interest, such as the Rijksmuseum, the Anne Frank House and the Dam square. Schiphol Amsterdam Airport is easy to reach by train as well.

A bit to far from the center of Amsterdam, but with tram ore metro it is simple to go to the center of Town.
*my tipTake tram 12 to the museumplain, take a boat trip and do NOT go to the red light district!

The Circles restaurant service was terrible. While waiting for service, we were not given any water or coffee. We waited one hour before our food order was taken. The restaurant was not even packed. The staff did not apologize for the service.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean facility and modern as heck. Internet was easy and fast. TV was good too. Rooms are modern and large by European standards.

They use a passive heat/cooling system. It was very cold and rainy when I was there. It was not possible to get the room warm so I had to put on more clothes to sleep. While you have a control in the room, the instructions say it will only rise slowly and 3 degrees at most.

We were very impressed with the service at the front desk. In particular, Bart was so helpful and went above and beyond to help us with several things.

It would be nice to have a real computer in the lobby for guests that haven't brought their own. The one that is currently there, is very difficult to navigate and it wasn't clear how to use it all the time.

Wanted food from bar, ordered drinks for while we waited. Received the drinks and was told the kitchen was closed, then had to stay and finish the drinks. Would have been nice to know the kitchen was closed earlier so we could leave.
When checking in, there is no line so we weren't served in turn.
We had no 'do not disturb' sign so on one day the cleaners kept knocking every ten miutes.
