Nice basic hotel nearby city center
+
Hotel Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Location was also good.
–
Room itself was very basic and those narrow stairs are not easy to use especially with big luggages.
*my tipPlease remember this is a two star hotel so don't expect anything special. You will get basic room with very basic breakfast nearby city center.

Great location, great prices, nice wee room if you are just looking for a bed and a shower.
–

stay away..
+
Not far from the central station.
–
The room was at the upper most floor, and the stair case is extremely challenging (no elevator of course). We made sure to go in and out of the room as little as possible. The bed was terrible, the room was cold and the blanket smelly and thin. We were freezing. The internet doesn't work up stairs, yet there is a no internet at breakfast time policy, which assuming you are there to see the city doesn't leave you much time to actually use it.
*my tipMake sure you don't get a room on the second or third floor.. Check the bed before taking the room.

Close to train station. Friendly reception. Clean sheets.
–
noise from partying next door! Construction going on in hotel. Dirty walls and carpet in room. Poor tv reception--no satilite. Impossible stairs for carrying up large rolling bags. Most expensive hotel we paid for in a trip that included London and Paris but the worst quality by far.

Central Location, Accomodating Staff
+
reasonable walk from Centraal Station; they try to accommodate people who want to check in early (wonderful in my case as I had just come from an overnight flight across the Atlantic; free WiFi in lobby;
–
no major complaints; the room was a little cramped and drab but it was what I expected for the price.
