Surroundings

The Albus Hotel Amsterdam City Centre lies within a short walking distance from the floating flower market and the bustling nightlife of the Rembrandtplein. The shops in the Kalverstraat are just around the corner as well. The central train station is about 7 minutes by tram and within 10 minutes you can reach the RAI Conference and Exhibition Centre.

Food and Drinks

For a healthy start of the day, Senses restaurant daily serves a breakfast with organic products and fresh smoothies. Breakfast is served on weekdays from 07:00 till 10:30 AM and on weekends from 07:30 till 11:00 AM. Senses restaurant offers the best of slow food cooking, fresh organic dishes in American style. The friendly service and the pleasant atmosphere complement the experience. By ordering room service you can also enjoy the food in the comfort of your own room. Aan de service en veiligheid mag wel gewerkt worden.

  • – During breakfast there where not enough tea mugs around. We got a class without any suggestion how to hold it. Asking for another one got the answer that they where all dirty. More important the electric socket on the night stand is on the table itself, build in. So when you spoil something on it, it will run into the socket or phone, which it did.   • + This Hotel is wonderful for a family that wants a nice vacation in Amsterdam, itâ™s very clean, comfortable, has very good location from the museum and the city center, the staffs are very nice people, and it has modern furniture. I recommend it to any family .The price is a little expensive but everything in Amsterdam is like that.

very nice stay, the Deluxe room was worth for that price
  • + Great location, helpful stuff - added a baby cot upon our request immediately. Really big room compared to some other rooms in Amsterdam. The size of the Deluxe room was enough for us and our 9 month old baby. All the other benefits of the Deluxe room were worth for the upgrade ;)

  • + I must say i thought the other reviews were a bit harsh on this hotel,myself and 3 friends booked the quad room which was downstairs and had more than enough space for the 4 of us,the room was clean,the bed sheets were also very clean as was the shower/bathroom,the rooms were cleaned daily and extra towels were left which i thought was a good touch since there was 4 of us.Excellent location plus everything you need within 5 mins of the hotel.I'll defo be booking this hotel again.
  • – The only thing i can think of is the room was a bit stuffy at night even with the window open,i could put that down to there being 4 of us but a bit of air con would have went down a treat for a good nights sleep.Plus flat pillows(but thats just me).
