The Conscious Hotel is a comfortable eco-hotel near the Vondelpark and a number of popular attractions in Amsterdam. It's located at a few minute's walk from the Leidse Square and the Museum district. Here are the three most famous museums of Amsterdam: the Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum and the Van Gogh Museum. Near the hotel is a tram stop.

The appearance of the Conscious Hotel is fresh and contemporary with an emphasis on comfort for guests. The beautifully furnished guest rooms feature furniture made from natural materials, such as bedside tables made from tree trunks and tables made from recycled yoghurt cups. In the bathrooms you´ll find environmentally friendly cotton towels and water efficient shower heads. The lobby has a lot of natural daylight and there are also many plants. Behind the breakfast area is a garden where guests can enjoy the sun.

The beautiful Vondelpark is located in the centre of Amsterdam. The large city park is lovely for walking, skating, visiting the FilmMuseum and relaxing on the beautiful terrace of the museum. Conscious Hotel Vondelpark is situated on the edge of the Museum Square and within walking distance from the bustling Albert Cuyp market and the Heineken Experience.

If You want to use wi-fi, you have to go to reception room/ hotel cafe. - bad smell in a bathroom. - Check out is at 11:00 clock, but cleaning staff are already getting into room at 10:30. It was quite irritating, hotel shouldnt leave any single impression that guests need to leave as soon as possible.

An experience worth to try, but i.m.o too expensive.
  • + Friendly service, nice atmosphere, just across Tram-Station. Tasty food, breakfast till 12.00 for the 1st of January with champagne. Big bed, really comfortable. Relaxing music at the lobby and the dinig room.
  • – Small room, smaller bathroom. Shower with no door or curtain. No vanity or shaving mirror. No mini bar. No late check out. No wide range of food for breakfast.
  • * my tip It is an experience to live the "conscious way". Persons who are used to more comfort might be disapoointed. But it is an experience worth it.

Great hotel in a fantastic location.

Fantastic hotel, GRAB it when it is still available!
  • + Unbeatable value, super nice, clean hotel with superb staff. Don't be fooled by pictures from the outside. Inside it is ultramodern. We stayed in tower B which involved a bit of navigating inside the hotel. But so what? Not a big deal at all. The breakfast (not included in price, but great for 10 Euros --children free--) is sumptuous. The location is fantastic. It is not in the central district, but it is like 3 minutes by tram, and the tram station is right outside. It is right off vondelpark which is a beautiful park to spend some nice time walking around. In all, I would absolutely stay ONLY in Conscious Hotel if I were to visit Amsterdam again!

  • + Great hotel and brand new! Rooms are beautiful. Location of the hotel is great. The tram stops in front of the hotel. Accept the breakfast, I really reccomend this hotel for a city trip!
  • – Breakfast, the price/quallity of the breakfast isn't good. There isn't a lot of choice and the staff is slow with filling products that are empty. We walked in the breakfast room and didn't see any staff at all, so we went to the buffet. There was a staff member coming and stoped us, first we need to sign before we can take a seat. The aproximation from the staff member was rude. The quallity of the products from the breakfast is good!

  • – Personal at the reception should receive more training. Cleaning lady took the stuff that looked like trash but actually it was not. I not used to that, usually they take only stuff that is in trash can.
