The tram has a stop on the Rembrandtplein and there is a metro stop on Waterlooplein. You can enjoy a good night's rest in the elegantly decorated rooms and suites that are all equipped with modern amenities like air conditioning, LCD television, coffee and tea making facilities, minibar, hair dryer and high speed internet connection. The hotel also has an internet corner in the lobby, an elevator and the renowned brasserie FLO, where you can enjoy lunch and dinner in a Parisian atmosphere.

Food and Drinks

The international breakfast buffet is served daily between 07:00 and 10:30 h.
You can enjoy your lunch and dinner at brasserie FLO from where you can choose from the many French specialties on the menu. Let yourself be pampered with the culinary specialties and the excellent service. Naturally, you can relax with a snack or a drink in the hotel bar afterwards.

+ friendly saff
- rooms starting to look shabby
Anonymous Quite modern and good location- pricey but worth the money
9.8
+ AMAZING BED. so huge. mostly good for couples. there's a 'coffeshop' just a few meters away. perfect for young couples who want to have fun in amsterdam. very clean, close to city center, very modern rooms,
- a bit pricey, 2 nights 360euros... they tell you the city tax is included but its not, you pay extra. the bathroom doors were glass and you could hear EVERYHING thats going on in there.
Bradley Reid Excellent hotel, location, price, everything 1st class.
9.4
+ Staff very friendly and very helpful. We flew to Schipol, caught the train to Amsterdam Central and the metro into Renbrandt sq, which in total took about 20mins. Journey very straight forward. Hotel location is brilliant, right in the middle of everything you need to see, within walking distance.
- I honestly can't think of a minus point for the hotel. Oh! The mini bar in the rooms, don't use it, very expensive!
SB My favorite hotel in Amsterdam
9.4
+ Easy to reach by tram from the central station, quiet although near the busy Rembrandt Square, Herrengracht with nice old houses in a few min walking distance, - I stayed in this hotel 5-6 times already and it is definitely my favorite
- none
Anonymous Great location. Okay stay.
7.8
+ Great Location.
- Carpets look dirty. Toilet is nice but no privacy or noise reduction with glass doors.
Anonymous Very good value and pleasant place to stay
10
+ Our sink would not drain, I reported it and someone came to our room very quickly to fix it. The front desk personnel are very helpful and easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay.

+ lekker in het hartje van de stad
- een uitgeleefd hotel
Stephen Bayne Another great visit
9.8
+ This is the perfect location for access to great restaurants, shopping, walking, and the flower market. Despite being next to Rembrandt Square, it is quiet. Everyone is very nice. The rooms are modern in design. We have returned 7 times in the last 3 years to this particular hotel.
- Internet is slow many times during the day and that can be frustrating. In some rooms the modern tub/showers are tricky to negotiate for larger people -- but just ask for shower-only room.
Jose Great place to stay in AMS
8.8
+ Great location, right in the centre of Amsterdam. The room was great, and the bathroom even better. Free internet access is always a plus for someone who, like me, usually travels for work reasons! And if you book early, as I did, you can get a great price, for Amsterdam standards!
- Although it didn't bother me, the room faced a rather busy street, which meant that you could actually hear quite a lot of noise: at night, because it is close to one of the busiest night attraction area; in the early morning, because of the trams going by in the narrow street.

7.8
+ very nice breakfast, nice located
- fence in shower leaking water, corridors in hotel look not nice, Amsterdam doesn't look nice since they're
Irina Larchenko Nice and homey
8.0
+ The personnel in reception is very kind and differentiated. He works quickly and with a lot of order. The consierge is particularly attentive. The The room is comfortable and equipped with all essentials.
- The walls of the room are dirty. The room is very cold. The cleaning is not definitely.

7.6
+ good location in the city of amsterdam
- dirty walls and carpets in the room
Peter Goble Still a front-runner in comfort and value
8.0
+ Friendly helpful staff, early check in, very comfortable beds, quiet environment, extremely convenient location, excellent shower room, adjacent restaurant/brasserie very high standard of cuisine and service, spacious reception and concierge service
- (opaque) glass-enclosed shower and toilet not very private, customised TV not very sensitive or responsive, WiFi facility excessively expensive (this is a a very poor feature of hotel as people now expect WiFi as standard), customers should be told about city tax on arrival not when settling the bill.
Joseph Kablik Fantastic hotel at a very reasonable price.
10
+ The hotel is beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
- I wasn't able to connect to the internet.
Reinoud Hesper Keep your shoes on and earplugs in
3.8
+ Very good Bed Good shower
- The dirtiest carpet I have ever seen in a four star hotel in Holland both in the first as in the second room that was given to me after complaints about the terrible noise from all sides. What a lack of respect for your customers! A very cheap built hotel: poorest quality isolation against noise from the floor/corridor and the street; via the doors you hear anything happening on the floor. If there would have been a higher standard of hygiene and isolation against noise I would have given an overall 7 out of 10
Karen B. Convenient - helpful - I'd do it again in a minute
8.8
+ convenience to sightseeing and restaurants. Helpful staff at both entrances. Loved the room. would have liked an iron. Great theme "There you go"
- one night towels forgotten along with shampoo etc. Cups rinsed out and not washed even on our first night. Minor things but you asked.
Anonymous A safe choice
8.6
+ A good standard breakfast, clean environment, a quiet hotel & surroundings.
- When checking in, there was no presentation of the breakfast, lobby bar, or other hotel services.
Anonymous Excellent location, great for city break.
8.8
+ After first night, requested a quieter room as running marathon, we were kindly given a quiet room and this was much appreciated. Beds very comfortable.
- Felt breakfast was expensive and there was not a huge choice, would have liked more variety. Would really like an alarm clock in the room.
gemma carter Fabolous hotel great location and a modern room
9.4
+ we were really pleased when we arrived as we had an upgrade and our room was brilliant.
Richie Grant Very helpful & polite staff.
8.4
+ The hotel is situated in a perfect location, near to all the good night spots.
- The room that we were staying in had a glass wall seperating the room from the tiolet which ment that we could see each other having a shower ect.
Anonymous Hotel for business puroses
8.6
+ Excellent position Clean Very professional concierge
- Communication services expensive Desk personnel rigid behaviour
Mark Nice hotel provided you get the Eden hot deal (120 euros a day)
6.6
+ Nice contemporary style room, comfortable beds, coffee and tea supplied, hotel well positioned in center of Amsterdam. Concierge very friendly and helpful storing our luggage day of departure.
- Service is not up to the standard of the hotel: lady at check-in not very friendly, no wifi in room, wifi in lobby not functional (could not connect), parking in recommended garage (Waterlooplein) charges 48 euros a day instead of mentioned 26.40 for guests, no 110 V plug in bathroom. We asked to fill up the empty soap dispenser which was forgotten every day. Would not recommend this hotel at full price.

8.8
+ Great location, very clean and modern rooms. Excellent bathroom facilities.
- I was incorrectly charged because of the automated mini-bar system. The funtionality of this system should be improved.
Fiona Hlavka Perfectly comfortable place to stay in Amsterdam
8.4
+ The beds were really comfortable and the curtains really blocked out the light.
- One day our room was not cleaned and I am not sure why. Not such a great aspect when looking out the window but good location.
Alex Shakespeare Good location but...
5.0
+ Good location - couple of minutes walk from Rembrandtplein with pubs/bars/restaurants
- Dirty floor in room, checkin time was 3 but didn't get allocated room till 4, unhelpful staff, lots of other people complaining in reception about other problems too. Certainly not 4*
Nathan Robinson Good overall quality, but some refinements needed.
7.6
+ Location is excellent, room was clean, breakfast buffet was satisfactory, price was good.
- Carpet in room was extensively stained, only one set of towels, no automated check-out option, only one of each towel in room on arrival, lengthy waits at reception during check-in and check-out.
Osmo Keskitalo No Airconditioning
4.8
+ Excellent location.
- Air conditioning not working (25 - 29 celcius outside, probably 28 inside). Comment at reception was nothing can be done, no change of room ("that every other room, even every hotel had the same situation !" - which we found out was not the case). No compensation provided by the manager when we left - just a comment that air-conditioning will be probably ok following week (what a comfort for us....). Lack of air conditioning and hotel staff mindset to solve the problem and be proactive for the guest (ie. us) is the reason why Service and Comfort points provided by us are poor. Big disappointment vs promises and poor value for money because of that - not a recommended hotel during the warm summer time at all.
Francesco Spadaro Nice and comfortable
8.0
+ Vary nice room. Comfortable location. Reception efficient
Ian Jones Very dissappointing, especially for a supposed 4*.
6.2
+ The location is great, and the hotel foyer and restaurant are lovely. The bathroom was lovely, and the view wasn't too bad either. The room was standard really, no real perks.
- We booked a double bedroom, which ended up being two single beds put together, which always came apart as soon as you leaned too far. They charged stupid amounts for movies (11 to 16 euros??) and for room service, starting at 12 euros for soup. The pillows were uncomfortable and the towels were horrible, they felt like sand paper. The hotel staff were slow and sparing, on checking out, I waited for half an hour, and then when I enquired into leaving my luggage, I was rudely told that I had to leave it in the 3* part of the hotel, which is worrying, as I was staying in the 4*. The printer for the public computer was not plugged in, although no one was informed of this, and so after 15 minutes of trying to print my boarding pass, I asked and was informed that I couldn't use it. The staff were rude on every occasion that I spoke to them, and the service was just in general appalling. Overall, for the price, I would've expected more.
Docvicuk Remember to take a sink plug,. give this place a miss
3.2
+ Good location for Waterlooplein, the Hermitage & Rembrandtplein & within a mile of most things. Coffee Company shop a couple of doors away for breakfast at a reasonable price. Canal view room has super views ( compensating somewhat for deficiencies). Staff very friendly & helpful
- Arrived late; put in the Eden Hotel, which is the other half of the Eden-Rembrandt ( reviews speak of 2 entrances, the hotel tinks it is 2 hotels ) This is only 3 star yet we were charged for 4*. Whoever designed the tiny bathroom - glass door; no plug in washbasin; one tiny towel rail for 4 towels - wants shooting!! Rooms not cleaned daily This is hotel policy, but room was really only big enough as a `single'. Tried to double or triple charge with multi claims on my credit card. so check with your card company. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
g rysavy High potential - improvements possible
5.0
+ - pleasent location - good equipment - nice receptionists - good design
- - though paying up for a de luxe room cannot help the impression of being located in a standard room - no cleaning during first two days (though we didn't occupate the room the whole day), after complaint someone was friendly enough to free us from the rubbish - that was all
Daniel Slevin Pros and cons
7.0
+ Very comfy beds, but would have preferred a double bed instead of 2 singles. Good location. Friendly staff.
- Overpriced mini-bar, 5euro for a bottle of water, what's that all about. Can't move items in the mini-bar to put more in without being charged, wanted to put in a bottle of prosecco but that wasn't possible without the risk of being charged about 100 euro for moving everything. Room wasn't made up on the second day of our stay.

8.4
+ Very clean and confortable room, very good location
- The cleaning staff came in very early (9-9.30) and wake us up each morning; The mini bar was registering as consumed drinks we have not even tuched; We have cleared with the hotel that the drinks were not consumend, still I have a hold on my credit card for 32 eur for it; The hold for the 50 euro deposit turned out to be 61 EUR, and it is still not cancelled
John Rose Ready and willing; just need to smarten up a bit
7.0
+ The staff were very relaxed, friendly and helpful, and the hotel is convenient. It can be a little noisy if you are on the tramroute side, cxcoinciding with Rembrandtsplein nightlife.
- The beds and pillows were unusually soft;like sleeping in marshmallows. The decor of bedrooms looks tired now; a simple quick coat of new white paint on walls, and cleaning chocolate (or worse)off carpets would have lifted our experience greatly. We weren't told the minibar was wired; we arrived with a box of chocolates and fresh milk for our morning tea and left facing a 70 euro bill because we'd moved bottles to make room for these. Soon sorted, but be warned.
Gautam Nandkishore Allahbadia Excellent Hotel If Housekeeping Can Be Improved
7.2
+ Wonderful Rooms & Bed!
- Terrible Housekeeping & cleanliness
Justin Roffey Good hotel, average service.
7.6
+ Concierge was excellent.
- Wifi didn't work with my iphone very well. I think it was due to having 2 seperate passwords for the 2 seperate hotels operating in the building. Also, even when we asked the front desk to arrange it, our shower gel canister wasn't changed and an ironing board wasn't sent up to the room.
Alain Bron Excellent stay at the Rembrandt Eden Hotel
10
+ Excellent location, excellent hotel, and an upgrade for a large room. Thank you so much. I would recommend this hotel.
pierre de Vos Top Amsterdam Hotel
9.6
+ top bathroom set
Mark Vlaanderen
8.4
+ Good service mostly. Security guy (Yassel?) went out of is way to help us. Really appreciated that.
- Reception desk seemed understaffed, we had to wait for a very long time only to be met by a stressed out receptionist that seemed irritated by the presence of guests (at the desk)
charles Magnificent view and location.
10
+ we were upgraded to apartment suite facing the river - fantastic views and very warm furnishings. very complete apartment. the maid cleaning the room was very thorough, but did not clean the cups, dishes etc (there were not many used)
- the men's toilet in the lobby had strong smell of urine - very poor impression. Our plane from US arrived at 0800. we could not check in until 3pm. Other world class hotels will try to have the room cleaned 1st. to accomodate early guests, or offer a room for 1/2 daily rate. The front desk was understaffed (one person) when we arrived and there were 3 people waiting for service.
Stephen Bayne Another Good Stay
9.6
+ >Great location!!! >Upscale design and good value. >Easy to book online.
- >Bathtub/showers are treacherous -- need better design. >Had problem last time cashing traveler's checks immediately after checkout. >Never sure which which hotel is which with 2 lobbies. Alwasy stay on Rembrandt side.
alan sloanes Well located
9.4
+ close to the trams
G. Bowell Employ more cleaners
4.4
+ Convenient location for exploring Amsterdam. Plenty of eating places nearby.
- Stayed here for 4 nights with my wife and teenage daughter, in two rooms. These are my observations: Gruby, gruby, gruby. Carpets in rooms, badly stained. Bath/shower draining mechanism broken. Bed sheets not very clean. Used coffee cups unwashed/replaced for 3 days. Very cramped rooms, double room had TWIN beds, and absolutely no drawers for clothing, just one wardrobe. View from room over internal semi-derelict quadrangle, appalling. Corridors seemingly never cleaned (used breakfast tray left on floor from early morning to mid afternoon).Concierge non existent. Very expensive breakfast....€20 per person is outrageous! Confusingly, half of this building is The Eden Hotel, a 3 star version of the Rembrandt. Probably a better proposition? In conclusion, The Rembrandt is a 2 star hotel with 4 star pretensions.
Kathrin Pauler Nice stay in amsterdam
8.4
+ location, design hotel, breakfast was good, interieur & room stylish, check-out lady was very nice to us
- glass-door to the bathroom, check-in lady was not so friendly to us, the beds are very "shaky"
Anonymous Comfort at the centre of bustling Amesterdam
9.0
+ The hotel is new, the design is modern and the workers were nice.
- We asked for a large bed, but we have got two separate beds close to each other.
Anonymous Location,Location
9.4
+ Excellent location good value 4 star hotel comfortable bed.would recommend this hotel and would return
Stephen Brundage Great hotel
10
+ My favorite hotel in Amsterdam. Plenty to do on Rembrandt Plein and close enough to other amenities as well.
- It would be nice to have some heated smoking areas for your smoking guests somwhere around the hotel -- perhaps a rooftop area or some other area with ventilation.
Robert Oot An ideal location to base a visit to Amsterdam.
9.8
+ The RS Eden is a perfectly situated hotel. It is just off a busy square and is a short walk to most major sites. The staff were very available and helpful.
Rose Great location, rooms too small
5.0
+ Excellent location!!! Very Central
- Rooms are very small. Glass wall between shower & bedroom means you get very little privacy, rooms are better suited to couples rather than friends sharing. Reception staff can be a little un-helpfull at times.
