Perhaps, the deco and wallpainting would merit a refurbishing action even if the lobby and the bar well remain "in their juice".
*my tipa very good and nice restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

13 euros per day for wifi internet in the secon decacde ofthe twenty first century, is a bad joke,
at best. Every Cafe on the street with three tables can afford this service for free. This is because every owner in almost every cafe has a computer with internet facility, which is shared with the people who sit at his tables, by the addition of a simple inexpensive router . Once one has a computer with internet on the premises, the use of the Wifi does not carry with it extra payment. By ch
*my tipI would gladly recommend the hotel once free wifi service will be established

Very nice hotel and a good location.
+
Good location for us, convenient to public transportation and quite walkable. LOTS of restaurants nearby (on site restaurant good, but quite expensive. Helpful staff. Quiet, comfortable room. Had mentioned it was our honeymoon, and they provided a free, really good bottle of wine!! Nice touch!
–
Room mainitenance fair, but only had minor issues.
*my tipDon't get the optional breakfast--expensive, and lot's of options available nearby. Use front desk to call a taxi--arrived ontime, even on national holiday!

Very disappointing
+
Reception staff excellent, considering having to defend the hotels five star status. When I made complaint about the status they listened and were very courteous..
–
Not a five star hotel.I went to have breakfast and no full cream milk, only skim mixture, when I requested full cream told we do not offer that.I could not believe that. The did not have proper air con,We stayed on level three, The carpets in the hallway were very shabby for a five star,ok if it were a three star. All in all very disappointing would not recommend.

We had to cut our stay short by one night and I found speaking to Karla on the phone prior to our visit to alert the hotel that we were only staying two nights a very negative experience.

A bit disappointing, but pleasant!
+
The bed in the executive suite was very big and comfortable
–
The exterior of the building looks more like social housing than a 5* hotel! I was disappoint by the 'marble bathroom' - it didn't look as grand as it sounded! Overall, I had a pleasant stay, but I wouldn't describe this hotel as luxurious. It could also benefit from luxurious rooms for couples!

Great Beds...
–
We went down to breakfast at 10:00 most of the dishes were empty, no eggs, meats, cheeses, eventually the meat was refilled but the bacon and eggs and cheeses remained empty for the 1/2 hour we were there. For the price it was more than unacceptable. Will book the hotel again as we have stayed there 3 times before but will not pay for a breakfast again.

Great location, reception very helpful and knowledgable. Peaceful and relaxing. Thank you

A little care and maintenance should be done on little things to keep the hotel upto a 5 star standard, ie TV loose on bracket, paintwork chipped, tired looking cushions.....

The air conditioning did not work. For the price, you would think the mini-bar would be included for the executive room
