Not a 3 star hotel
  • + Location
  • Room nothing like the quality shown in the photographs. Television and decoder box all wired through one plug which powered off at the slightest touch. Dangerous wiring in the bathroom with an ordinary hair dryer wired directly into the same broken socket intended for a razor. Broken toilet seat. Broken shower attachment. Radiateur not working. Uncomfortable beds.
  • (Families with young children)
Hotel to avoid until it will be refreshbishment
  • + Nothing
  • The room i booked needs room remdiation asap !!!! Carpet, wall , lights .....have to be replaced The breakfast at 10€ per person is very expensive for the buffet proposed !
  • (Travelling alone)
Staff very friendly and helpful
  • (Families with older children)

  • The pictures on the website page is much better than what the rooms really look like! Too expensive for the quality.
  • (Older couples)
low standard of the room
  • Breakfast was very poor.
  • (Travelling alone)

  • + close to the city. no early morning traffic or noise. receptionest extremely helpful.
  • bedroom very badly located. too many steep stairs. this is not advised when booking.disappointed i had to pay for room per terms of cancellation although i could hardly make my way up the stairs.

Good place to stay when exploring Amsterdam
  • + Convenient for museums, parks and public transport. Friendly staff.
  • (Friends)
nice, clean but too expensive for this room's standard
  • + very close to the city center, just next to the park, rather quiet place; the room was clean;
  • this hotel looks much better on the pictures, rooms are rather old and small. Unfortunately doesn't look like on the hotel's website. For this standard hotel is too expensive
  • (Travelling alone)
A satisfactory experience overall. I would stay there again.
  • (Young couples)
ok, but more in room facilities and hospitality/understanding required
  • + near vondelpark. near trams and a cost effective supermarket. They kept our bags so we could spend our last day adventuring amsterdam.
  • no kettle or cups. no eating in room which wasn't mentioned to us anywhere on the booking. we are not large smokers but no smoking allowed and this wasnt clear on the booking either. room wasnt ready for when we arrived.
  • (Travelling alone)
Far away from my expectations!!!
  • + Only the location and the good looking lobby (which is way different than the room)
  • The single room I got didn't much correspond to the price/quality I actually expected to get. They even made me pay the city tax, which was not mentioned in my previous bill. One morning I even found a broken emergency exit indicator that had fallen from the cieling! Pretty dangerous heee!! I will not go back anymore...not even worth it for the price of 85 EUR per night.
  • (Families with young children)

  • (Families with older children)
  • + The location.
  • we have been very disappointed by this hotel. The breakfast was poor. The room was not comfortable. There are not enough towels in the bathrooom. The bathroom is too small and old. We heard the noise from the street. The hotel took 5% of the price because we paid by credit card.

Not as expected.
  • forgot things in the hotel room on check-out... they disappeared after an hour of returning back to the pick them up
  • (Young couples)
Comfortable but few services offered
  • (Friends)
OK for short stay
  • + Hotel was in a good location - within waking distance of all major attractions.
  • Service was very poor and I felt that the standards of the hotel - room/looks - were exaggerated. The hotel also felt quite charmless and oppressive (think quiet library or funeral), possibly due to staff who were all quite unhelpful.
  • (Travelling alone)

Do not stay in this old, dingy hotel
  • + location near downtown Amsterdam
  • old, dingy, room smelled of smoke and no one offered to change or help, no bathmat or washcloth, false advertising in that hotel was expensive for the shape of the place Would not recommend it.
