Amsterdam Apartment has eight fully furnished apartments, that are all located within the ring of canals in Amsterdam. A kitchen, DVD player and free internet are some of the facilities. Explore the city centre with lots of beautiful canal houses, interesting museums and pleasant shops.

Amsterdam Apartment offers apartments that are situated in authentic 16th Century canal houses. The fully furnished apartments are equipped with a modern kitchen and amenities such as a micro-wave, stove, refrigerator, and a coffee maker. Some of the other facilities are a cable television, DVD and CD player and central heating. You have free access to broadband internet. Bed linen and towels are also available. A bottle of wine awaits you upon arrival in your accommodation. You can also request a shopping and taxi service or an extra cleaning service.

The apartments are all located within the ring of canals of Amsterdam. The city centre of Amsterdam is compact, which enables you to reach most of the attractions on foot. Go on a stroll and discover the beautiful canal houses, several museums and lively markets. When you would like to receive some information about the buildings and the history of Amsterdam, then a canal cruise is the best way of transportation.

Studio Apartment on the Outer Canals

Location very near 4, 7, 10, and 25 trams. Big windows out onto the street. Quiet neighborhood.

Fan on heater unit VERY noisy which needs to be repaired immediately. No stove. Not near center without using trams. Bed uneven and placed basically on the floor.

Perfect canalside apartment at a great price

The location was perfect - quiet at night, but only a fifteen-minute walk from Centraal Station. A few really nice bars in the area, and a supermarket three streets away. Great canal view. More spacious than most Amsterdam hotel rooms, and the fully-equipped kitchen meant we saved a fortune cooking our own meals. Came with a washing machine and tumble drier too, which wasn't mentioned when we booked. And because ours was the only holiday apartment in a normal residential block, it almost felt like we were actually living there.

We were on the corner of Prinsengraacht/Prinsenstraat, between the Jordaan and Centrum neighbourhooods, but depending on which apartment you are allocated you might not be so lucky - and you only find out where you're staying when you arrive in Amsterdam. You will also need cash to pay for your room - there's a fee to use a card. That said, the guy who checked us was happy enough to walk the kilometre or so to the nearest cash machine for us to withdraw money. Very friendly, helpful service.

Okay just not for me

Weird room sort of like an office not like an apartment. Miles from the city even by tram due to work on one of the lines. No Smoking or anywhere to smoke as there are children everywhere, i stipulated SMOKING when booking. Did not realy enjoy my trip this time due to the location of the apartment. Unfortunately will also go back to using city centre hotels.

No complaints from this happy couple

Arrived after 24 hours flight at 9am. Neils was helpful in getting us to a room early, and not just any room. I am disabled and the stairs presented on first apartment were impossible for me. He upgraded us to an apartment with an elevator, and personally visited us to get Internet running. His assistant, Christian, was sweet and helpful. We were in a quiet section during a annual street party to rival all others--Queen's Day. Wine awaiting in room was a plus.

Loved it

Stayed at the studio on the Spui. I have been comming to amsterdam for the last 12 years and this is by far the best accomadation i have stayed in. (Yes i have stayed in 5* Hotels). Perfect location, Tram stop close by,CS next doorish all major points of interest near by. Niels who met me was the friendliest person you could want to meet. Awesome and i will be comming back with my family next time.

Jacuzzi bath did not work but who cares your in Amsterdam.

Great location! Great restaurant across the ccanal left and second right. Loads of places to relax musems within walking distance. Very comfortable.

No provisions oppon arrival some tea and coffe would be nice. There was a small leak when the maid mopped in the above flat.

Too bad for the price.

Easy location too reach from many places.

Dirty cups in the cubboard.Dirty smelling cloth by the sink in the kitchen. Placed right between "two red light buisnesses", a problem when i was travelling with my 8 year old daughter. She didn't want to loo, she entered the room with her eyes closed. It would have been niceif it had been mentioned in the describtion. Boiling hot water in the tabs. I scolded my hand just touching the tab while taking a bath. A broken jacuzzi......( I know it wasn't mentioned in the information, but broken things never looks good). A bottle of promised wine, that weren't there. Windows in the level with the pavement and a decor in black and red with mirrors reminded me more of another red light buissnes than a old canalhouse.

We appreciated the location and the interior decoration of the apartment in that building of the 17th century, plus internet free of charge, tv with dvd reader and the bottle of wine to welcome us.

Maybe it would be fine to include a second pair of sheets and blanckets in the cupboard.

Very centrally located within walking distance of the Central train station, yet in a quiet side street, close to excellent cafes, restaurants and supermarket. Roomy bedsit, compact kitchen, really nice bottle of wine was a nice touch.

We stayed 5 days and it was not cleaned once (were we expected to do the hoovering ourselves?) The air-con unit did not work, when contacted the owner admitted it was busted, the one radiator was inadequate to heat the freezing bathroom. And we are still waiting for a receipt from the owner!!

Leuk apartementje in het centrum.

Fraaie ligging in het centrum.Prettig bed en grote badkamer.

Cd speler deed het niet en in de badkamer hing een rioollucht plus dat het badwater heel langzaam wegliep. Dr stond een flesje wijn maar dr stond maar 1 wijnglas.

Home&Away is a wonderful memory for us. We had a quiet spacious apartment at the top of the house. It looked lovely, it was cosy and nicely furnished, with style. There was a kitchen with fridge, coffee machine, tea boiler, dishwasher and everything we needed. The house is from the seventeenth century and the architecture is typical, it's situated by the Prinsengracht, in a romantic area, only ten minutes walk from the station and close to Anne Franks House. We enjoyed its perfect location in the city center. From there we walked everything. You could also rent bikes nearby but we didn't Then the host, Niels was very nice and welcoming. It's a house where one feels good and would like to stay. I would advise people to ask for the same apartment which is one ofthe bigger and with a beautiful view on the canal, even though the other apartments seem not to bad either. Enjoy your stay with Home&Away!!
