- Hotel at quiet location in centre of Amsterdam
- Quiet hotel and decent breakfast. Price/quality good, taking into account that this is a hotel located in the centre of Amsterdam.
Employees very friendly.
- Manager or owner hotel ignores arriving guests.
In the night a mouse I heard a noise and discovered a mouse that being chased by me , disappeared through the opening of the door of the room.

- Decent and pleasant place
- Leideseplein is a very central place. The hotel is well priced.
- There was a problem with the basin in the toilette of our room. The room was too small, and it was impossible to put our luggage in any place.

- An expensive option with little to recommend it
- Good location
- Room & bathroom both small and cramped. Cheap furniture. Have never been asked for a key deposit before or to pay for keeping cases for few hours after check out. Rather a depressing place!

- Good place but dear coca-cola and bad smell!
- It was easy to find after finding it the 1st time. It was good the way we had our own key card to get in the front door. Not that much noise from other rooms and our room was warm and cosy.
- The vending machine in the hallway charged 2.50e for a can of coke! Its normally about 1e in shops. There was actually a strange smell coming from around the reception area. Couldnt smoke in the rooms!

- Very good location!
- The hotel is very well situated. A great start point for both sightseeing and partying. Walkable distance to the city centre (20 min) and museums (10 mins).
- We had to chage rooms over our 2 night stay without getting any serious reason for this.

- The location. The possibility to change in a better room without charge. The breakfast.
- The rooms are too small. We couldn't put all our clothes and had "to live out of the suitcase".
No advice after several enquirys, that there is a cheap parking possibility (P+R) for 6 Euros per day in the Olympic Stadium of Amsterdam. The reception staff (sometimes not very obliging) has to know!
Only 1 towel per person.

- Inexpensive and within easy walking distance of centre and museums. Perfectly acceptable for a few days cheap get away...especially if you don't intend to spend much time in the Hotel.
- Room was tiny....had no hanging space or drawers and no where to store suitcase. One of us had to sit on the bed whilst the other got dressed....as I said the room is tiny. Lift out of order and our room was on the third floor. Two flight of stairs were almost as steep as ladders....and there was a peculiar "drains" smell in reception and hallways.

- Very good position of the hotel for tourists.
When leaving, the receptionist was kind and I could leave my case there for couple of hours FREE!
- Breakfast : I found GREEN bread.....
No toaster @ breakfast
The toilet has NO ventilator - there could have been a small window at least - all the smell stays or goes back to the room..... /No.6/
The view from the room was to the ruins where excavators were digging and working from 7AM - we should have got a discount for that .....
Later on I found out that I had a telephone message, but nobody passed to me....thanx.
If I did not know that I had a letter there waiting for me when I reached the hotel, nobody would gave it to me - it took such a long time to find....

- LOCATION
- I´LL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS HOTEL: STAFF UNFRIENDLY, THEY ASK YOU TO PAY THE TOTAL AMOUNT WHEN YOU ARRIVE (WITH CREDIT CARD, YOU PAY AN EXTRA CHARGE OF 6%).THEY ASK YOU A DEPOSIT FOR THE ROOM KEY (20 EUROS). IF YOU LOOSE YOUR KEY OR SOMEBODY STOLE YOUR BAG, YOU LOST THE DEPOSIT AND YOU SLEEP OUTSIDE BECAUSE THERE´S NOBODY IN THE RECEPTION BY NIGHT. THERE´S NO LIFT AND STAIRS ARE SO TIGHT AND INCLINED THAT THEY´RE NO SUITABLE FOR OLD PEOPLE, NEITHER YOUNG PEOPLE . I THINK IT´S DANGEROUS IF THERE´S A FIRE IN THE HOTEL AND IF IT´S NECCESARY AN EVACUATION.IT WAS AN ADVENTURE TO CARRY ON OUR LUGGAGE TILL OUR ROOM ON 3ª FLOOR. NEXT MORNING THEY TRIED TO GIVE OUR ROOM TO OTHER GUESTS WHEN WE´RE IN THE RECEPTION, I THINK THAT IS CALLED: OVERBOOKING. AND WHEN WE TOLD TO THE MANAGER (NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL MANAGER) WE DONT AGREE PAYING EVERYTHING AT THE ARRIVAL, THEY TOLD US IF WE DIDNT LIKE THE HOTEL, WE CAN CHECK OUT AND GO TO OTHER PLACE. SO, IT WAS THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE BEEN IN MY LIFE. IT WAS VERY EXPENSIVE: 136 EUROS PER NIGHT, AND THE BREAKFAST WAS TERRIBLE. EVERYTHING WAS LIKE A JOKE.AN ADVICE:TO CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL.
