+ Clean. Strong hot shower

- Very small room. Nothing like the brochure picture. The TV was a small old TV unit perched on top of a 6ft cupboard. Bed was a bit lumpy. I doubt all the rooms are this bad so get details before booking

+ great bed, nice toiltets, friendly staff. I recommend this hotel during summers, off-seasons I would try to get another hotel with better standard and a bit closer to the centre.

- terrible breakfast - you get what you pay for!, a bit from centre but good tram connections nearby.

+ The hotel was very reasonably priced and the location was excellent. There were several restaurants and a supermarket just around the corner from the hotel. We left the car in the hotel parking area (a convenience well worth paying for) and walked into the center each day. The dining room was very basic in style but the self-service food was plentiful and varied. Both rooms had good bathrooms. The twin room was lovely - large and spacious, especially considering the price, with several windows and a light, airy feel.

- The double room was very small - not in itself a major issue, but the fact that this room had no net curtains accentuated the problem. As the window faced directly onto other rooms, we had to keep the main curtains drawn much of the time.

+ Conseillé pour les weekend en amoureux, le lit est incroyablement douillet! L'emplacement de l'hôtel est bien. Arrêt de tramway et de bus qui ammene à la Centraal Station. Coffee shop à proximité ;)

- Le paumeau de douche était cassé heureusement que nous sommes resté qu'une nuit! Il y avait une seule rue en travaux dans amsterdam et c'était la rue de l'hôtel! Mais le weekend il n'y a pas de travaux. Ouf!

+ Nice quit hotel, 20 minutes to go from the center. The breakfast was very good. Rooms are quite and nice. Generally pricewice we were expected less for such money. So this is a hotel where we would stay one more time when we will visit Amsterdam

- A bit long way from centrum. First day was OK to go walking to the centrum but second day we have used tram.....

+ Great Breakfast included, price was exactly what was quoted (with 5% tax). ALthough not central it is near so many tram stops that it is easy to get around

- Amsterdam stairs and no where to store lugage during the final day. However these stairs are to be expected in Amsterdam and the staff did put the bags behind the counter for us.

- the police took our car,but was our fault.that was the only inconvenience: the parking.so if u come by car do not try to fool them like we did(and payed 230 euros next day),just park legally

+ - location and closed carpark (20 euros per day). ideal if you arrive by car or motor bike has Amsterdam and that you want to circulate foot has during your stay. on average 10 minutes has feet of the museums or the centre town - Breakfast is correct. - All people speak english. - Reception open 24/24 - Computeur in free acces with internet at the reception.

- - Nobody speak french. - No bar. - Location for the travellers with big bags in train. (approximately 25 minutes to central station)

+ this hotel has nice and helpful personel. the room we stayed in was a relaxing and pleasant retrieval. Good breakfast. The hotel is situated a bit outside the city centre but that was no minus.

- Could always had more luxury in the hotel. but for the price and service and comfort we experienced we enjoyed our stay at Linda Hotel fully.

+ Clean room, 24h reception, trams to center near.

- The stairs are too steep and they don't have elevator. It's a real adventure to climb those stairs. You can be easily get injured.The price is a little bit too high. The wireless internet is not working.

+ 15 to 20 minute from everything important by FOOT... Van Gough Museum, Anne Frank House, Red Light District... This is a much more local part of town and everything is more reasoably priced

+ Room large enough, new bathroom, pretty good isolation from the road, location next to a tram stop and not far away from popular places, always helpful reception, probably historic building with steep hall (plus for some, minus for some), best price found on internet of all the other available hotels, good breakfast; breakfast served earlier on request, many restaurants and shops around.

- Some noise from people moving upstairs two out of 5 evenings, helped by reception; Some distance from popular places if one prefers action over quiet location

- We had a less expensive hotel in the center and he was with more facilities and more centered. The Linda looks older and far away from the center.

+ Helpful service; accepted to give a relatively less noisy room. Good location, between the museums and the city centre.

- The room on the street side was extremely noisy, and it was nearly impossible to sleep. Alarms rang during each of the two nights we staid there. Noisy customers each night. One of the two rooms had no bathrooms.

+ The team was good polite and kind THE breakfast was good the romm and the bathroom were clean

- We have 1 room for 6 pepole-although it was the least expenssive from other hotels-in this region-it is too crowdet -for we have a little place for each one of us --It wasn't suprised for us-for it is the second time we use the hotel(the first time was 4 years ago-without using the little parking yard)).-but comparing to hotel in Paris--with the same price)it would be more convient if the room will be bigger+more toeliet(or not so close to the beedroom-and there are no window/reafresh-air-in the toelite. The parking behind the hotel wuold be better-if there are no double paring--and the enterness-would be wide enough .(the team have a problem-to move the car-that block our car. -The parking was conveint-for us -although it was small and expensive-and not clean enough- THE electric-auotomatic parking door is dangerous and almost crush our car-when we try to get-out from the parking-It might be better-that the person who open the parking-door whould see-if we succeded get-out-and control the close of the parking door-or it might better if the hotel has a reserve parking area in the street behind the hotel.

+ Easy tram ride from Central Station (about 100M from Tram stop). Walking distance to Heineken Brewery Tour & several museums.

- You need to be agile to climb the very steep and narrow stairs from floor to floor. No lift.

+ The room was quite large and the breakfast was very good. Lucky to have been included in the price. Although at 108 euros a night its not cheap!! The hotel is walking distance to the Heinekin experience & the museum quarter although a bit far from the city centre. Overall quite expensive for the location and considering the mouse incident quite a bad experience.

- The hotel looked great on our arrival and everything seemed to go off well, but we had a rude awakening in the middle of the night with a mouse in our room. Luckily it was our last day there. When we asked for something to be done the perosn on night shift made very little effort to do anything at all. After a lot of complaining we were given a smoking untidy room and were expected to sleep on someone else's ditry sheets. We demanded new sheets which were reluctantly given and we were left on our own to change them. Therefore I have given service a low rating. My confidenece in hygiene also has dropped due to this incident although I have to say the room & bathroom looked clean when we arrived. Another bad thing is they do not change sheets or towels even after 2-3 days!! Lastly although we had specifically asked for a double bed we were given 2 singles put together which was quite uncomfortable being a couple.

- Prijs: kamer is "veels" te duur (Euro 126,- voor 1 nacht) voordat wat 't is. Hygiene: Badkamer niet 100% schoon. Haren van de vorige gast nog overal te vinden. Sterke schimmelgeur in de hele kamer. Vooral in badkamer. Ook zichtbaar. Vlekken aan badkamer deur (wil niet weten wat voor vlekken)Kapot raam, kon hem niet sluiten, plus smerig. Gordijnen vol stof, vlekken. Slechte ventilatie. Foto's op internet lijken geen centimeter op de kamer in real life. Algemene mening: smerige kamer voor een 2 sterren hotel en veels te duur. 1 keer en nooit meer.

+ Breakfast was great. Location close to public transportation and restaurants/caffes. We enjoyed our stay but it does not suit to every body because of the steep stairs.

- No elevator, very difficult to climb up and down the steep stairs with heavy luggage. The mattres needs upgrade. Upon arrival there was no soap in the bath room , a bulb in the bath room need to change.TV needs tuning or some thing else.

- rooms without wardrobes! Instead of two triple rooms we had one triple and a double with a mattress on the floor as third bed: we had to complain to change room! Paying with credit card costs a plus of 5%: should i travel with 2.300 ¤ in my pockets?
