- I really enjoyed my stay at Multatuli Hotel. It is right across the road from Centraal Station. The staff were great and even got us taxis for a fraction of the cost!

- there are several positive aspects to this hotel. firstly: the location is fantastic, so central to everything you want to see.secondly: the staff were excellent, very helpful and polite. thirdly: very good breakfast, so often breakfast consists of pre packed patries with a small pot of jam, not so here, lots ofpastries but also hot food was readily available and well cooked. all in all good value for money.

- Very helpful staff. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon, juice, various cereals, milk, cold cuts, cheese, bread and coffee and open until 10am. Hotel is close to shopping, station, and coffee houses. Gave us a free map. Helped find a much cheaper solution for parking car.

aged 10,11,12 , like myself they thought the hotel and its location excellent. The staff were very helpful , (as are all the dutch people we met.

- Clean bathroom and room. Breakfast was really good too. Service was good and I was not worried about the safety of my belongings. Great place to arrive from airport to central station (hence no need to pay a cab from the airport).

Slept very comfortably.
- If you're carrying more than an overnight bag, then you're in for quite an exercise. Not having an elevator is the biggest turn-off. And those stairs just aren't big enough.

- The great thing about this hotel is its proximity to the train station. The walk from the train station is very easy even with baggage in tow. We had room 144 that was one floor up. The lift gets you up, but there are still a few interior steps to get you to your room. There are also about 6 steps at the hotel entrance to get to the check-in desk. No problem if you're fit, but would be a problem for anyone with a disability. The room was clean. The bathroom looked newly refurbished with a tub/shower combo. Great water pressure and lots of hot water. Hair dryer installed on the wall worked great. The bed comfort was adequate with nice clean sheets. TV is an extra charge, but we were more interested in sleeping. The room also has a mini-bar, an electric hot water pot tea bags and instant coffee. The room was surprisingly quiet. We had a large window, but viewed the walls of other buildings, but again that was not a priority.
- The only negatives are the price ($125 euro)although everything in Amsterdam was expensive, and there was no accomodation for breakfast for people who had to leave before 7 am to get to the airport. The train was a great way to get to Schiphol Airport. We caught the 6:29 train that takes about 20 minutes and leaves every 10 minutes.

- Located practically across the street from the Centraal Train station. No smoking of ANY kind allowed in the rooms, penalty applied for ignoring. Staff was friendly, room was clean.
- No food allowed in the room. Couldn't bring any snacks, water or left overs back to my room. Door had trouble closing, but once it did it was securely locked. No window in room, just a skylight. Came back from walking around at 01:00 and the hotel was locked. It took them 15 minutes for me to get in. Called, knocked...no answer. Internet connection had certificate issue, no confidence in it's security, was not given a refund for it.

- Great central location, friendly staff, comfy bed, nice clean bathroom (deep bathtub and nice powerful shower). Generally pretty quiet despite there being scaffolding and building work going on. I hear the breakfast is good but as they finish serving it at 10am I was never up in time to try it :)
- Room decor was slightly shabby in places, carpet looked like it had not been hoovered properly. Bed sheets were clean but had holes. Late night room service food was poor (microwave pizza, still half-frozen in the middle?!). Housekeeping barely touched the room for my entire stay.

- hotel location in the right place near the amsterdam central station. all people in the hotel were very sympa. Breakfast were very good.we recommend this hotel well located in a amsterdam central point
- the 3 stars seems to be old stars , carpet is old , and we changed room due to the short place in the first one without problems
