Beautifully appointed hotel with great service - but a bit pricey!
+
very good service - felt well looked after - nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff we came into contact with. Particularly liked the ambience and the staff in the cocktail bar on the 23rd floor
–
very expensive in the bars and restaurants in the hotel - nearly 30 euros for a continental breakfast is a little excessive - however well presented it might have been!

The Ocura Has Style and Terrific Service
+
This was our first stay in an Ocura Hotel. It is beautifully designed and has very comfortable beds and other features as well as a wonderful view of your city. The service was impeccable. We really appreciated that there wwere both a stand-up shower and bathtub.
–
We were overwhelmed by the state of the art technology as we had to adjust to how to adjust to openings curtains and lighting, which was not explained to us when we entered the room. I was also surprised that there were extra charges for the swimming pool as in every luxury hotel I have stayed in world wide included this as part of room charges.

The bed sheet can be a little more clearner as I found some hair on the sheet that does not belong to me. Also, it does not make sense for you to charge for the workout/exercise room. This is non business sense for you to charge us for such a service

Staff very helpfull and friendly.
Japanese food restaurant was excellent, but so it should be at those prices.
–
5 hours before our arrival we were informed by Okura that they were overbooked and that our first night was to be spent in Hotel LeEurope in- that was totally unimpressive and disruptive for our trip.
Room service food was absolutely awful. The breakfast was unedible and the sandwiches not much better and it was not cheap. It seems that all efforts for good food has been given to the Japanese part of the hotel which is a great shame.
There are too much fiddely technolgy in the room.
It would be a great plus if there were tea & coffee making facilities in the room.

Ik vind het te gek voor woorden, dat als ik daar voor 300 euro eet en voor ruim 200 euro slaap dan ook nog 35 euro moet betalen omdat ik in een lege parkeergarage sta. Zo geweldig is het nu ook weer niet.

Absolutely love this hotel. Very luxury hotel, excellent service. Almost didn't want to check out. ;-) And I travel quite some.
–
The roomservice, breakfast prices and all other prices when in the hotel are exactly double the price of other five star hotels. This was a bit disappointing.

love the area and on our previous visit found ALL the staff helpful, friendly and polite
–
The furniture in the room was in dire need of re-staining plus the room was quite dusty, we also found an abandoned book beside the bedside table. We were told our details had been lost since our previous visit so we would have to pay for the pool, but as we had joined on our previous visit various calls to Tokyo went through apparently, to find our details to no avail. The following morning, note under the door, 8.43am saying reception needed to speak to me. Misguidedly, I assumed our details had been found so we could use the rather lovely facilities. But no.We arrived at reception to a female reception person telling me, that NO our details had not been found. Her manner was, to say the least, accusatory. I assured her I was perfectly capable of remembering where I stayed for such an auspicious occasion as was my 40th birthday. The evening before we left, I spoke to another staff member who was extremely helpful and resolved the situation. Unfortunately, this incident coloured our stay.
