- Good choice in a very good neighborhood of Amsterdam, nearby to import
- The very pleasant contact with the owner of the hotel and his tips what to do in Amsterdam gave me the feeling to be very welcome.

- Overall quite ok
- Quiet street, very nice breakfast included in the price, 24 hours reception, acceptably clean, don't know about usual price but we got a promo-offer on hotels.nl
- Thin walls/ceilings: you can hear whenever someone moves/walks/talks beside/above your room, bed very soft (this is of course not necessarily a minus)

- Priceworthy with excellent walkable location close to city- center
- Friendly staff, walkable close distance to town center and most of all museums and other places of interest. No need for public transportations, easy to reach from airport with the cheap intercity train and trams
- Somewhat small rooms, mosquitos but that goes for all Amsterdam

- Cosy hotel with a fantastic location
- The very friendly staff
- The breakfast buffet. The bread was not that good, and every morning there was a "fight" to be seated without having to wait too lang.

- The manager/front desk staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet appealing. It was good to be able to leave luggage in a locked luggage room after checking out. The hotel is conveniently sited in a quiet street and is generally pleasant.
- I had a little difficulty with the room key (tricky lock - in need of adjustment). The room was a bit smaller than I had hoped with a rather cramped en suite shower-room/WC, but it was adequate. There was some noise from the rrom above, because of the creaky floor.

- Very good service in the reception.
- Too few people arranging breakfast, so several things were empty for a while before they got the chance to fill up. Just as well as not enough people to clean the tables so new guests could sit down.

- Location very good, near the center..
- We booked a quad-room (for 4 persons): we were locked up in a basement room that would be small for a single room!
Two very tiny windows in the upper side of the room only...
The room looked smooty, hairs in the bathroom, beds were very soft.

- The staff at this hotel were extremely friendly and accomodating. We got down to breakfast as they'd just begun to clear up yet they were happy to serve us and even offered to bring trays out again for us to have seconds! It is a pet-friendly hotel although you should confirm it with the hotel first! It was accessible to public transport and there's a beautiful park nearby for walking, jogging or simply laying out in the sunshine. Our room was quite spacious - two adults and two small dogs coexisted comfortably! This hotel is excellent value for money and we'll definitely return on our next visit to Amsterdam - dogs or not.

- Excellent location, close to downtown and in a qiete suburb.
- The bedding, particulary simple bed, is terribly bad. Too narrow. The ledger on roulette moves along the slightest movement. The mattress, which is protected by a plastic sheet does not stand by the mattress.

- Good location. Clean towels daily. Nice little garden. Beds comfortable and clean.
- When we arrived we were told there had been a mix up and there was a problem with our double room, but he would try to sort it out. We were offered a very small double room or a larger twin room. We chose the twin room as it was slightly larger but still very small. The 2nd day the bathroom was not cleaned. Female receptionist was rude. The Man preparing breakfast coughed all over the food and was contiinually clearing his throat which could be heard from the dining room. Shower was cold.

- Staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and reasonable size.
- We are used to having a smoke free environment especially when eating. We are aware that European cities allow smoking in eating places but to us this is the biggest negative from our stay at the hotel. In addition the cat and cat food in the eating area was not nice or hygienic.

- Hotel people were kind and friendly; the breakfast (included) was more than average; and services in general were not bad. The location is perhaps perfect for boat cruises, dining out, taking a walk at Vondel Park and museum visits.
- The room (single) was very small; the mattress was too soft; and ventilation was not good which means that, in the early summer, it was extremely hot. Even though the charge was reasonable in a city where hotel charges has gone crazy, I cannot say it was value for money.

- the staff are very pleasant and helpfull. The breakfast was quite varied and laid out in a very attractive manner
- Windows in room. the very low window sill makes it VERY DANGEROUS to have to window open. It would be VERY EASY to lean out and overbalance, and fall out of the window. the window needs something in place, a barrier to prevent this

- The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and seemed to really care about making sure each and every guest received personal attention and service. The hotel was in a great location in the Museum District, so easy walking to a number of attractions, as well as restaurants and shopping.
- The room seemed rather small (a single) for the price I paid, but since I was out of the hotel during the day playing tourist, this wasn't a huge issue. No washcloth was provided in the bathroom, only a hand-towel and bath towel.

- One mad ass Cat! and the location is perfect, quiet street, close to the Leidsplein area, lovely garden out the back, and an owner with a good sense of humour, had to be to put up with 10 Scots!
- Not being allowed out in the garden after 10pm due to the motion sensor alarm, 11 or 12pm would have been better, and also a stocked bar with someone to serve would be handy, and to have the internet working.

- The breakfast was heartly but uninspiring. Also the bed was too soft for my liking but we slept well regardless.
