When you are travelling by public transport, take subway 53 towards 'Gaasperplas' and get off at the end stop. From here it is a 10-minute walk to the hotel. The hotel is located at a 20 minutes drive by car from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam's city centre. The RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre, the World Trade Centre (WTC), the Amsterdam ArenA and the Heineken Music Hall can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. You can park your car for free at the hotel. When you would like to explore the surroundings, you can rent a bicycle via the reception. A tour along Weesp, the 'Muiderslot' castle and Naarden is recommended.

The hotel offers a peaceful location at the banks of the river 'Gaasp' and is therefore suitable for a leisure stay as well as for a business meeting. Nice place to stay if going to the Heinekin Music Area

We really enjoyed our stay. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable good size bathroom although would have preferred a shower opposed to a bath. we would recommend it.

Furniture in the room could have been dusted down ther was dust everwhere. A bit chilly at night could have done with a extra blanket, radiator needed bleeding to get more heat out of it. A bit of a walk to the hotel from metro station could do with a Taxi rank outside of the metro station. Checkout should be later.

Clean, convenient and good value for money, though could do better

Capable staff, friendly and efficient, room cleaned well each day, nice big airy room.

No tea/coffee facility in the room, twin not double bed (and not very comfortable at all). Breakfast was nice but identical every day which means boring after 9 days! Nobody explained about the voucher scheme so being hassled for vouchers we didn't know about was annoying, someone could have just said ask for them at reception!!!

Not as exciting as the text promised, but good value for € 60 prpn.

Rather quiet hotel, however I missed a mini bar in the room. Most of the staff was very friendly.

Checking out took a very long time, because of a very inexperienced desk attendant that had to ask for help all the time. I must admit that her problems were rather complex, because one of the customers didn't have enough credit on his credit card ... I expected to have a room with a shower and a bath, as mentioned, but I got a bath with the possibility to shower, standing upright on the slippery and curved bottom of the bath tub. I'd rather have no bath at all, but a safe shower..

Stay in Riverside during our renovation.

Pretty nice attitude of the staff. We felt home. Reason we stayed there: near our house, because our house is rebuilt. It was a complet surprise to note what's all happening there. And mostly; a professional friendly attitude.

Rug on the table of seat was disgusting. That will not invite to sit there. Only one parking place for handicapped persons! While there is much room for smokers!

Excellent location, but service disappointing

Location was excellent, just minutes from the motorway, yet 10 mins walk to the metro and access to the heart of Amsterdam. Our room was an excellent size and comfortable with two chairs.

first impression with reception could have been better. Man using computer never even raised his head for over 30 seconds. No smile. Room was better than I expected but would have been nice to have made coffee for ourselves. Shower/Hair gel ran out 3rd morning.I removed it from unit over bath to draw attention of this, but next morning holder empty and NO NEW in bathroom.

Buona sistemazione per chi arriva in auto ad Amsterdam

Ideale per chi arriva in auto ad Amsterdam, facilmente raggiungibile dall'autostrada e a breve distanza (noi lasciavamo l'auto nel parcheggio giusto sotto la stazione) si può prendere una linea metro la 53 che porta direttamente alla stazione centrale di Amsterdam in 20 minuti. Camera spaziosa e con bella vista sul fiume.

Da migliorare la prima colazione, mancano alcune cose essenziali quali latte caldo pane tostato e zucchero monodose, un pò troppo aria da motel.

amazing countryside views

lovely location, river side room views were beautiful. the breakfast was very nice and there was a wide variety of foods such as cakes and bread. the rooms were very clean and spacious. the free parking was an extra bonus. we will definatly consider staying with you again and have recommended this hotel to friends and family. the staff were very helpful and friendly. we had a very enjoyable time.

Good value for money

Irrespective of how semi-central they claim their hotel to be, it is on the outskirts of the city, too far away from anything. It is some walk from the metro station (the last stop on metro incidentally!) and doesn't feel too comfortable at night.

Hotel manager and receptionist Nicole was really nice and helpfull.they both did their best to please us but due to condition of the hotel we decided to leave day earlier.

on arrival on 21.07.2007 no rooms were available for us waisted about three hours. shower was hopeless bed broken doors need strugle to open windows do not open.this is the condition of business class rooms what will happen to others . visitors are coming from all over the world breakfast should have some better menu. fresh oranges were sqweezed in the jucier machine without washing them and they had their small sticker on and person used bare hands to fill the jucier machine container no hygine.24 euro extra in other hotel makes lot of differrance in comfort luxury and care.my opinion is this standared of hotel should be upgraded also the service customers should be treated nicely and farely thankyou z.latif

Behulpzame receptie. Niet duur voor een hotel in Amsterdam, ook nog gratis parkeren. Goed ontbijt. Ruime kamers, ruime badkamer. De kamers aan de voorzijde liggen vlak bij een drukke weg, aan de achterzijde zijn de kamers veel rustiger en hebben de meeste kamers een landelijk uitzicht.

's Ochtends wakker geworden door een touringcar die met draaiende motor een half uur voor je hotelraam staat te stinken. Bah! Na klacht bij de receptie hebben we direct een kamer aan de achterzijde van het hotel gekregen. Dank! In de zomer zijn de kamers nogal warm. Tegels in de badkamer niet schoon.

Bijzonder goed restaurant! ontbijt tot 12:00 op zondag! Snelle afhandeling in en uitchecken.Dicht bij de Arena. Vriendelijk personeel.

Ligt voor ons goed centraal.

We kregen de verkeerde kamer. Her was steenkoud op de "goede" kamer omdat de verwarming uitstond. De kamer was niet erg schoon. Dikke spinnenwebben aan het plafond en in de bar kon je je naam schrijven in het stof op de lambrizering.

Eten was zeer slecht (zowel buffet als van de kaart). na de bediening hierop aangesproken te hebben kregen we geen reactie van de kok, reactie van bediening was : sorry, niks aan te doen. voor duidelijkheid, vlees kwam rauw met nog stukjes ijs erin op tafel, sla en komkommmer begonnen al bruin te worden en al het eten van het buffet zag er uit alsof het er al de hele middag had gelegen en smaakte dito, taai met aangebrande sausjes.

Eenvoudig maar netjes

De ontvangst is vriendelijk.

Ontbijt besproken bij binnenkomst. Kregen hiervoor een voucher. Hier werd in het geheel niet naar gevraagd de volgende ochtend. De thee en koffie waren koud. Er werd aangeboden warm te halen echter dit werd niet meer gemeld dat het er was.

rustig hotel, balie prima, vriendelijk personeel, goede ligging.

duurdere kamer geboekt ook ivm beloofde uitzicht.. moest toch echt op de tenen gaan staan om over het platte dak met airco buizen heen te kijken om in de verte iets wat op een riviertje lijkt te zien. Ook jammer dat er niet zo nauwkeurig werd schoongemaakt, het is eeen wat ouder hotel, dat is niet erg maar het moet dan wel netjes schoon zijn, bad kamer veel vieze randen en douche gordijn.

Personeel is erg vriendelijk.

Bij het ontbijt waren de broodjes (op zaterdag) vers uit de diepvries. Een van m'n broodjes verkruimelde helemaal. Voor € 15,- p.p. mag je m.i. wel vers brood verwachten.
