- Very dissapointing! Sub-stard room with no bathroom, noisy!
- Location
- Rude staff. The room was MUCH worse than in the picture. We immediatly tried to book another hotel because we feelt tricked. The staff were rude and the toilett really really smeled bad...
The whole experience were unfullfilling and I will send friends to other hotels. Please inform guest that this is a budget stard hotel with expensive prices and terrible staff.

- Hotel room could be a bit cleaner (cobwebs on the ceiling). The view out of the window onto the backyard was unpleasant(yard was was unkept)

- the hotel is very reasonably priced and nicely located. it's clean and quiet.
- two things:
1. there was no soap in the shower or toilet on the first floor. this was a problem as i only stayed for one night and, as you know, one cannot take these types of items on the plane anymore.
2. i got caught in the rain and was drenched... totally soaking wet. i asked if i could have an extra towel. the desk clerk said there was none available.

- We were 6 people on this trip and they were able to give us a room for 6. The price of the room for 10 days was fair. They were friendly at the desk. The hotel is right in the center and in walking distance from loads of places in Amsterdam.
- Room service was horrible and rude. The people at the desk were nice but never seemed to know what to do about anything if we had any questions. The breakfast was plain. I would not stay there again.

- Location
- We were in Amsterdam for our 22nd anniversary of marriage. We had a reservation for one twin room with shower and we had a single with another bed. We were very angry and they changed the room for two nights only and the third night we had the room 12 with TV and DVD out. The didnit do anything for us when we ask help. If you want more of our story at the sphinx, you can ask.

Not possible to have breakfast 20 minutes before opening times (although all was ready to start eating). Our flight left a bit early. Not a flexible man in charge.
To compare with Brussel or Germany it was a very expensive room, but I understand that Amsterdam is very popular so.....

- The location is good, a quiet street but only 15 mins walk to the city centre - a stones throw from Heineken brewery. Rooms were well cleaned every day. Breakfast was pretty simple but you could eat as much as you wanted.
- This hotel is not suitable for the elderly or very young, the stairs are way too steep, and there is no lift. We had a double room but there was barely anywhere to put our bags it was so small. Price was fairly steep but comparable to other similar places in the city.
