Amsterdam Central Station is on the other side of the road and offers excellent transport connections to other districts and surrounding cities. From the hotel, a short walk will take you to many sights such as Dam square, Madame Tussauds and the shops in the Kalverstraat or Magna Plaza shopping mall. You only have to cross the road, if you want to go on a canal cruise to admire the famous canals and historic buildings. Near the Central Station are numerous companies offering canal cruises.
