Hotel Breukelen is situated in a remarkable building, which is a copy of a Chinese imperial palace in the Forbidden City in Beijing.
You will stay in a luxurious Comfort, Deluxe or Superior room, some of which have a Jacuzzi. Or treat yourself to a stay in a deluxe suite with a sauna, steamcabin and Jacuzzi. Throughout the hotel you have free access to wireless Internet.

Hotel guests can make free use of the Wellness center with a swimming pool, Turkish steambath, sauna, foot baths, aroma showers and a relaxing area with a fireplace. In the Beautysalon it is possible to book a facial treatment, massage, pedicure or endermology treatment. The Wellness center is connected to the fitnessroom which offers modern fitness equipment.

The location along the A2 motorway between Amsterdam and Utrecht makes the hotel easy to reach by car. When using the train, you get off at train station Breukelen, only 150 metres from the hotel. Breukelen lies near the beautiful Vecht region and the lakes Loosdrechtse Plassen. At the reception you will find an abundance of recreational tips.

Food and Drinks

Enjoy the national and international specialities in the Brasserie and restaurant between 07:00 and 23:00 h.
On Saturday and Sunday there is a live cooking breakfast with an extensive dinner buffet at a fixed price, including wine, beer and soft drinks. This also applies to the Sunday brunch buffet, including coffee, tea, milk and juices. The kitchen staff prepare lovely dishes for you on the spot.
At the special buffet for children they can bake yummie cookies under guidance. They will also certainly enjoy themselves in the children's corner with a television, dvd player, game computers and a drawing board.

Greg Curtis: 26 November 2009; 7.6; + great location and very nice room.; - Would have thought coffee making facilities should have been provided in this standard and price of Hotel and culturally I'm used to paying a room and breakfast rate. When booking in I was asked if I wanted to pay up front (which I did) I should have been asked if I wanted breakfast to be added. I was not so assumed and was then approached somewhat abruptly during my meal to pay!

Herberto Pires Business Trip: 7 June 2009; 8.6; + Friendly staff; great breakfast; restaurant food was good; easy freeway access; fairly close to Schiphol airport, (20 minutes away); - Had a bad experience one of the nights; I was trying to sleep for an early business meeting the following day and i was awoken with a loud party below my room; party lasted until 1:00 a.m.; this was not a pleasant experience.

Mickie A Crume Nice Hotel - would stay there again.: 26 April 2009; 9.2; + The Hotel is in an excellent location, with a train station extremely close. Trains from Bruekelen go right into Amsterdam. There is also a secure parking lot at the hotel. The rooms were clean and well stocked with toiletries. Water pressure in the shower was great! Staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet had a good variety. Overall, we were pleased and would stay there again.; - Really, the only downsides were that the mattresses were way too soft for us. Others may enjoy that. It would have been great if breakfast was included in the price of the room as with other hotels. Though they offered a decent buffet, I thought it was terribly overpriced at between 12 - 15 euro per person.

My wireless was disabled and it was not possible to get USB connection. I had a non smoking room, but guests in the neighbouring rooms smoked in their rooms and one could smell this in the corridor but also in my room. I toke this hotel because pets are not allowed, I saw three couples with dogs in the hotel!!

A.V. A good summer 'special' price and worth a return visit.: 17 August 2008; 8.4; + The hotel has obviously been recently refurbished. The rooms were pleasantly large, as in most v.d.V. hotels, the carpets and bedding clean and the bathroom good. We were pleased by the much-improved cuisine. Fortunately, the rather mass produced food we used to receive seems to have disappeared - we had an excellent steak and a good vegetarian dish. Breakfast was varied and fresh and the cooked food done while we waited. The garden is pleasant and well worth a walk. Hope the other hotels in the chain are similarly improved!; - Proximity to motorway and railway line. The windows couldn't be opened, so no real fresh air, but it would probably have been too noisy anyway. Although all the staff were very pleasant, they had to be reminded three times about various forgotten items at dinner. And although the salad that accompanied the steak was excellent, it would have been better with vinaigrette and not the usual old splodge of Dutch 'slasaus'! A disappointment that our dog was not even allowed into the ground floor or restaurant, as had been the case in the past.

Excellent buffet for breakfast.; - Decoration starts becoming a bit old. Need to be refurbished in more modern style. Restaurant room is too big; Would gain to be splitted.

Good restaurant so one doesn't need to go out to eat.; - Hygiene: there was a long black hair in my bathtub and this is a small but kind of irritating thing. Comfort:The matras of the bed seemed to be worn out, very soft and soggy. Otherwise everything fine.

We go really often to the hotel for some raison and we always take the same chain. Thanks for the atmosphere.; - The only problem is the bed! we asked for a double bed for two and apparently, here, in netherland, there are only single bed... Can you think about the couple who sleeping in the same bed and close. :).

Hotel Breukelen A2 Has a good location, it was extremely easy to find, the city itself was nice and Utrecht and Adam were easy to reach.; - For a four star hotel, i expected a bit more from the room, the landscape was not too nice either, as the hotel is located in BETWEEN the railwaystation and the A2 highway. ;)

The food was delicious, prepared quickly and had great presentation. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.; - Some of the common areas (lounge, restaurant)were smokey even if you were in the nonsmoking section.

Anonymous Als Kurzurlaub und Geschäftsreise zu empfehlen: 16 January 2012; 7.6; + als Geschäftsreise sehr zu empfehlen, direkt an der Autobahn und direkt am kleinen Bahnhof um Amsterdam oder Utrecht leicht zuerreichen. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig ohne Lärm, Frühstück sehr gut,; - Betten zu weich, Kopfkissen zu dick und zu klein, Lampen sollten kontrolliert werden, kein Gratiswasser auf dem Zimmer bei Anreise, Hygienebeutel im Bad fehlen, kleine Handtücher fehlen, Aufzug nicht sauber, Flur nicht gereinigt, überall etwas zu dunkel - Licht - Helligkeit fehlt, freundlichere Farben wären Pluspunkte -
