great hotel but a bit isolated

Fantastic weekend deal for what is clearly a business hotel. If you can get a deal which includes buffet breakfast you won't regret it.

Not in the centre of the city and not much to see locally if you are on foot. There is a tram line outside the hotel which will take you anywhere or (like us) you can walk into the centre in 15 mins

Very comfortable beds. Well stocked mini bar and in a good location.

Very expensive mini bar. The room we stayed in was a twin as I was sharing with a friend, however there was a see through wall to the bathroom from the bedroom, which could have been quite embarassing!

The Reception staff were fantastic, they were very helpful and are to be congratulated.

The Domestic staff need better supervision, on the 28th they removed the bath mat and did not replace it, similarly a hand towel was not replaced.

good hotel and clean

location and comfort was perfect just one tram stop from central station

when I checked in I asked if I could check out late as my flight was due to take off late. The response was yes before 5pm which was perfect for my schedule on the day instead of the normal 12pm. I was surprise I was charge extra 25 euro and I was not told before which was a bit disappointed not the money but the receptions was not honest from the start. But will still stay there again next time.

Absolutely outstanding service

This was one of the best stays I have had in Den Haag. I have stayed at several hotels in Den Haag but what singles out the NH hotel was the friendliness of its staff whether cleaner or receptionist and their willingness to help. The view from my room was spectacular which only added to the quality of my whole experience. I cannot recommend this hotel too highly.

The restaurant was a little pricey but nevertheless the food was of very good quality.

A very pleasant hotel with nice little touches like a free book of short stories in the room. Location is ok for the central station, although roadworks made it a little difficult to walk there. And the view from the 19th floor was magnificent!

Best designed hotel room I have stayed in (and I am away about 70 nights a year. Something diffrent from the usual and most pleasant without unecessary clutter. Well done NH!

The location was not very helpful for the centre particularly as taxis are seldom available without a telephone call and even then, on one of the wettest days of the year, to get to the taxi, it was necessary to walk 30 meters in driving rain. Restaurant had a restricted menu especially for snacks.

I couldn't believe that so large a hotel with so many guests could be so quiet. The insulation between rooms must be very good--there was no sound from other rooms of TVs, showers, slamming doors.

The presence of smokers in the dining room/bar. Although there was a "non-smoking" section, the smoke was still very annoying because there was no separation between smoking and non-smoking sections.

The hotel was well decorated, well soundproofed, well maintained and clean. The billing was correct and the communual areas pleasant. I would be happy to stay again.

I did feel that the reception staff could be more welcoming. No smile, no conversation, minimum information. Later someone tried to ring me and the call was not answered until the fourth attempt. As this was mid eveneing I can see no reason for this. The hotel is not easy to find, I was not the only one to experience this as I had to direct two new customers to you on my second day. More directions on your website would be helpful such as directions from the station.

The toilet and bathroom were very clean. The tv speaker in the bathroom was a nice idea. The room was laid out very well and the bed was nice and big. Overall a good stay.

It took 20mins Q-ing before when checking out also The bill was wrong (ie over charged). There was someones hair on my pillow. There was no music channel on the tv.

The service at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful.

Very few, although (1) it is bad that one is automatically charged for breakfast (even though one did not sign up for it when making the reservation) and one therefore has to *ask* to have it removed from the bill; (2) the price for breakfast is ridiculously high (16 Euro). (3) Presentation of the wireless internet feature is confusing at best and dishonest at worst: When one makes a reservation, it is clear that breakfast costs money. By contrast, the web site advertises, "wireless internet access" without mentioning a price, thus implying that it is free. In fact, it costs money and is rather expensive. (Here I should note that every decent moderately priced motel in the US offers free wireless internet access.)

Great value, probably because rates were set at an introductory level. Wonderful view from 13th floor. Room decoration was very chic.

Room occasionally lacked all towels, toiletries. Air conditioning fairly weak. Some front-desk staff could have been friendlier. Public printer by Internet was broken throughout stay. Cost of breakfast and WiFi service was very high. Location was in midst of a (temporary) construction zone.
