Eindhoven is mainly known for the Philips headquarters, but also for the first ever lightbulb factory, which nowadays has a museum attached to it. Visitors can admire the modern architecture of the 'Vesteda Toren' and the 'Admirant', two residential towers in the city centre. Both of them give a modern touch to the historic city centre. The uniquely shaped 'Evoluon' technology museum is also worth a visit. Eindhoven has a number of impressive museums, among which the 'Van Abbemuseum' of modern art. A lovely walk can take you from the centre to the 'Stadswandelpark' and the 'Genneper parken'. Just outside of Eindhoven lies the beautiful 3,700-acre scenic area of 'De Strabrechtse heide'.

The Hampshire Hotel – Crown Eindhoven has rooms that are equipped with, among other things, air conditioning, a telephone, Internet connection, television, safe, desk, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The executive rooms have more comfort, additional facilities and you can also use your own Nespresso machine. Surroundings

Eindhoven is a city of remarkable architecture, which creates a dialogue between historical buildings and modern highrise buildings. The inner city has a number of beautiful parks and in the surroundings one can find the 'Strabrechtse Heide', a large nature area with heaths. The city is located between Tilburg and Venlo, near both the German and the Belgian border. From the Hampshire Hotel – Crown Eindhoven one has many possibilities for a day trip.

Food and Drinks

The extensive breakfast buffet is served between 06:30 and 10:00 on weekdays, and between 07:30 and 11:00 at weekends. Enjoy the daily buffet with ample choice of hot and cold items. Start your day with a newspaper, fresh fruit and a croissant. The coffee is always ready and fresh fruit will give you a vitamin boost. The hotel offers room service whereby breakfast and dinner can also be enjoyed in the privacy of your hotel room. The key words for the restaurant are healthy, fast and good. Due to the limited number of parking spaces at this car park, it is not possible to reserve a parking space in advance.

Bring your own water and don't plan to sleep late. you'll be fine.

  • – No minibar, not even a bottle of water in the room. No painting or print on the wall, just a very dull room. The toilet seat couldn't even remain standing upwards due to a strange construction error that must have been there since they built the place. Breakfast till 10.00 am .. no lunch. The soap dispenser malfunctioned. Expect to wash your hair with Dreft like quality soap. Last but not least, its a one way street so park your car in the public parking and walk the last 300 meters. No P !

The cars outside the front of the hotel all run as if it is a one way street, but be aware that the Bus Lane outside the front of the hotel runs in the opposite direction (left to right), so can take you by surprise !

  • – rooms and beds were all different sizes first room we got was tiny and the bed was like a big single but the staff were very nice and moved us to another room not much different but the bed was a double so i was happy.

  • + Service at the bar was great. You have really nice waitress in the bar! The rooms has great view.
  • – You really need to change the breakfast,, 17.50 euro for the same type of food daily? no way! I should get decent variety for this price. There was some problems with the reception, some of them was asking for help form others which is quite okay but if they know what they supposed to in advance will be great. They lack smile!!!! Toilet water flush lack power.
