Eindhoven offers a wide range of attractions and has a rich history. Besides historic buildings in neo-gothic style, there are many high-rise buildings to be found here. Some impressive buildings are the 90 metres high Vesteda tower, and the 105 metres high Admirant, both of which are residential buildings. Besides the architecture, the museums in Eindhoven are also worth a visit. The 'Van Abbemuseum', a museum of modern art and design, has works of artists such as Jan Sluijters and Isaac Israëls.

  • * my tip USE A BUS TO BE THERE FROM BUS OR TRAIN STATION(PROBABLY AT CENTRAL). IT TAKES AN HOUR BY WALK TO BE THERE FROM CENTRAL TRAIN STATION.

Overrated hotel.
  • + Good bed and pillows, everything was perfectly clean. The staff is very friendly. It's easy to find in bus, but far from the center (a 30min walk to the station)
  • – To start for a 4stars hotel have some old equipments. The hair dryer looks like something from the 80's. The phone in the elevator too and it's fixed with tape!! The toilet paper is more like small knapkins, very annoying. The breakfast is overpriced. Compared to the mercure in tilburg this is a 3starts top.
  • * my tip Be prepared to spend a lot of money in buses. Each trip cost 3€. Or be prepared to walk a lot.
