Queen Hotel Eindhoven

• + Good value for the money, perfect location
• – The hotel terrace is always busy due to huge amount of Customers that are not residing in the hotel. So If you stay at the hotel then your chance I'd using the terrace and restaurant is slim

Very nice hotel, excellent location.

• + Excellent location in city. Everything up to date furnishing are nice. Excellent bed and pillows (high quality). Good restaurant and bar that is part of hotel. All the staff friendly and helpful. My room was also equipped with good heat pump. I expect that heating and cooling is good (for cold or hot days). Nice large windows that can be opened to let in fresh air.
• – None really.
• * my tip I had room on street side and just above terrace/bar/restaurant. During the evening one can hear the noise from street (if window is open). If one is a light sleeper then I would recommend a room at a higher level and/or near back of hotel (away from street). Otherwise it was fine. I did not mind having a view of market square even though there was a bit more noise. I could still sleep okay.

Great value for the money!

• + Stayed one night at the hotel, appreciated their cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff; it's centrally located in the market square, we easily hauled our luggage from the train station to the hotel.
• – We had two rooms. One of them was very spacious, newer, and very comfortable. The other was much smaller, things seemed worn down and the carpet has many stains on it.

• – Breakfast too expensive - I had oj and fruit and had to pay 12.50 - my sister had coffee and croissant same 12.50 should have price list as we did not realise it was a buffet price

Clean and comfortable

• + Clean and comfortable furniture. Excellent location. The Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. A great choice for young couples!
• – All the shops were closed on Sunday!

Lovely atmoshpere, very efficient, clean and modern.

• + really nice atmosphere. relaxed staff, very helpful. I arrived very early, yet the room was ready for me. Room was very clean, modern, nice bed and pillows. Breakfast was extensive and delicous.
• – shower gel and shampoo was empty but there was a bar of soap, I mentioned this at check out, receptionist made a note and said sorry, which is fair enough.

• – The only real drawback was that my room was to the street side and it was a bit noisy late in the evening.

• – The shower didn't have shampoo. I had to ring reception but it was provided immediately.

• + Excellent value, convenient to station, in nice location, friendly staff, good breakfast, the food at the hotel restaurant at dinner was also excellent
• – Noisy music in the square; uncomfortable pillows (large and hard) VERY IMPORTANT - why is the fire door on the 3rd floor held open by a large flower pot? Surely the fire door should be kept shut in case of fire? I asked one of the staff about this and she said she would look into it but when I shut the door I notice it was re-opened. Even if the hotel is safe from fire, it looks bad that this safety door is open and you should put up a notice explaining why it is open.
• * my tip Check which nights there is live music in the square before booking or request a room at the back.

Central place for a week-end in the area of Eindhoven

• + Excellent central location on the Markt place.
• – Can be noisy during the night for the front rooms.
• * my tip Take a rear room if you want a quiet night, but you'd miss the view.

little gem in the middle of eindhoven.

• + lovely staff very helpfull with directions and information.we had beautifull room with lovely big windows to open up.bang centre in the middle of things.
• – might be a little noisy outside at weekends etc.. but hotel was worth putting up with it.
