Harderwijk lies amidst woods and heath, where you can go for a stroll or a bicycle ride. The town also offers a lively harbour and a nice centre for shopping.
The castle has a large drive-way and an impressive garden where you can escape the hustle and bustle. In these stylish surroundings the staff will do their utmost to make you feel at home. The unique rooms are situated in the historic castle, and they have a magnificent view of the estate. The castle rooms have a washbasin, bathrobes and slippers. The shower and toilet are in the corridor. The sanitary facilities are numbered, so guests have a private shower. The castle also offers 32 rooms in the extension that have a private shower and toilet in the room.
Food and Drinks
The chefs prepare a unique breakfast, for instance with home-made bread, raspberry jam and pumpkin-ginger marmalade. The extensive breakfast is served on week days from 07:00 until 10:00 h. and on the weekend from 08:00 until 10:30 h.
The restaurant is daily open from 12:00 until 21:30 h. for a lovely lunch or dinner. Fresh and pure products are used to prepare the dishes. In the bar in the authentic cellar of the castle you can enjoy a cup of coffee, soda or a good glass of wine. There is an outdoor terrace as well. The bar is open between 18:00 and 24:00 h.
