Salmela Hannu Not my hotel: 23 May 2009; 6.4; + Room was clean and looked nice. Breakfast was good. Bathroom was very good. Easy to access from A1; - Instructions for finding the room at the reception: "door behind stairs, second floor" - it took be 15 minutes to find the room, it was in a completely different wing. The signs for rooms were "interesting". Go an try to find a room 609... I had to pay for internet, even if confirmation from hotels.nl said that there is internet connection. Receptionist: "well, there is, but you have to pay". There was no iron in the room - one could be borrowed from the reception but they would ask for a deposit! How can one iron if there is noting on which to iron? There was no minibar, not to mention a possibility to make instant coffee in the room. I guess this was intended to conference guests etc., not to a business traveller?

I had asked the reception for a wake up while checking in. I went to the room and repeated the instructions, to make it doubly sure. No one bothered to call me. I woke up just 30 mins before my train. Had I not, I would have lost it. Think, they should take things seriosuly.

So, an honest cleaning staff, really impressive.; - In the summer - no airconditioning Choice for a "room service" dinner is minimal and the taste is not so good.

The dining room was very pleasant and the breakfast buffet was very diverse. Something for everyone. My 28 year old daughter really enjoyed the atmosphere of the bar and the friendliness of the bartender. I would recommend to anyone traveling in the area.; - The weather, but you can't do anything about that. It is a ways to downtown and virtually requires a car to get there. Bus may be available, but not apparent.
