+ Location

- This is a budget hotel that charged prices consistent with a 3+ star. The quality to price ratio was one of the worst I have ever experienced. We were greeted with the offer to swap our two doubles for a triple. We were then told that the credit card machine was broken and could we pay them the 2100 euros in cash. Coffee machines that did not work. One key per room. Towels on some days-the old ones would be removed without being replaced. I am not sure 500 words are enough. I am ok with simple funky hotels, but not if they charge high prices without delivering the most basic of services.

+ Dit Hotel ligt dicht in de binnenstad op loopafstand van de Dam en ver genoeg van alle drukte. Eenmaal op je kamer is het heerlijk rustig,ook s,avonds.

- De keuken was niet erg schoon,maar daar hoef je geen gebruik van te maken,dat mocht wel en er was gelegenheid om een kopje drinken te zetten.

+ gastvrij ontvangen,direct een drankje aan geboden gekregen. kamer was erg goed goed bed schoon!!perfect uitzicht op de gracht,eigenaar stond altijd voor je klaar, en ook bij het verlaten van het hotel weer voorzien van een drankje. Geen luxe hotel maar wel comfotabel en schoon!!!!!

- Jammer dat je contant moet betalen.

+ Location is perfect. You can use kitchen and make whatevery you want there. All dishes, suger, salt and other spices are there ready for you to use. Hotel boy was very friendly.

- Furniture and rooms are old, but if you have to olny spent a night there then beds are good and you can have a good night sleep.

+ ligging is geweldig, nabij de Dam en Rembrandtplein op loopafstand. Hotel was eenvoudig, personeel aardig. We hadden een 3-persoonskamer geboekt maar mochten kiezen of we niet liever een 4-persoonskamer op de begane grond wilden.

+ The hotel was located in the heart of the city, and conveniently located near tram stops. The manager (David) was AWESOME and made our stay wonderful. Our room (double) was spacious (compared to other hotel "doubles") and overlooked a canal. We had the convenience of using the common kitchen, dining room, & checked out DVDs

- nothing!

+ Hic karsilasmadigimiz bir otel deneyimi oldu. David'in durumu düzeltmek icin gosterdigi efor takdire degerdi. Ofisini odaya donusturme fikri basta hos gelmese de, sonuc mukemmeldi. Bir 22'' LCD monitor ve PC, dinlemesi keyifli bir muzik arsivi, temiz sayilabilecek bir yatak, ve odada herseyin serbest olusu. Dolayisi ile David'in durumu duzeltmek adina yaptigi jestler olumlu bir gün gecirmemizi sagladi...,,,,, Thanks David for converting your office into a customer satisfaction at the end.

- Paskalya'da gittik. Elimizde rezervasyon konfirmasyonu ile 1 saat bekletildik odalarda tadilat oldu?u soylenildigi icin. 1 saatin sonunda odam?z yok ama ortada birakmak istemeyiz sehir cok kalabalik gibi bir cevap aldik. David bize ofisini odaya dönü?türmeyi önerdi. The first moments in the hotel were nightmare : They even could not give a room at the beginning, but the effort of David was really impressive.

+ Voor deze prijs een prima hotel op een toplocatie. Kamer en badkamer was schoon en het bed was nieuw. Super vriendelijke ontvangst. Daarna geen personeel meer gezien, maar was voor ons ook niet nodig. Keuken aanwezig waar je zelf iets klaar kon maken. Verblijf is prima bevallen, ideaal voor een stedentrip verblijf en de locatie was top!!

+ Ich war im August schon einmal da,mit 2 Kumpels,wegen eines Konzerts im Melkweg!!Diesmal wusste ich wo ich parken muss,ohne lange zu suchen und viel Geld zu verschwenden!(Danke Gabor!)Diesmal mit Frau da gewesen und wieder ein 3Bett für 2Personen gekriegt.Damals war´s ´n 4Bett für 3Mann!!Zimmer war ok und sauber,mit Blick auf Gracht!Dusche war verstopft,aber egal...immer wieder gerne!!Preisleistungtechnisch nicht zu unterbieten!SEHR zentral gelegen,alles supi zur Fuß zu erreichen!!!!

- es gab überhaupt nichts aber auch garnichts auszusetzen!!

+ We werden doorwezen naar een beter hotel

- Terwijl we geboekt hadden, was het hotel vol. Bovendien kregen we te horen dat we eigenlijk geluk hadden, want we hadden wel in een erg klein bed gemoeten.

- Ietwat chaotisch bedrijfsvoering, maar alles wat je maar kunt wensen van een goed hotel was er.

John Als slaapplek een goed adres, ontbijten kun je ook ergens anders.

+ De persoonlijke manier waarop je ontvangen werd en ook later tijdens het verblijf spraak mij aan en heb ik als aangenaam ervaren. Als slaapplek is het een aanrader. Ontbijt en zo vindt je ook wel in de omgeving.

- Ben in 1 dag tweemaal verhuist van kamer. De ene keer was met mijn medeweten. Maar de tweede keer kwam als een volslagen verrassing. Vondt ik wel een beetje jammer.

+ The only good thing about this hotel? (I would call it hostel, very cheap hostel) is location. That's only one good thing about this hostel.

- Room was dirty and very cold. Toilet was disgusting. Toilet hadn't been clean at all. I found pieces of crap in toilets, lots of hair in shower area. Room was freezing cold, I couldn't close window properly in the room and when I asked crew member to do something about it he said there is nothing what he can do. Crew members are foreigners and they were very unfriendly. I will never book this hostel any more.

+ Great location in city centre by a quiet canal. Comfy bed. Good breakfast. The communal kitchen was really useful and kept very clean. Hotel was quiet and cosy.

- Shower not great but definately useable. Hard to think of any more minus points!

+ Ligging is uitstekend, fijn ook dat de hond meekon.

- Hygiëne is niet voldoende: we zijn door vlooien gebeten terwijl onze hond vlo-vrij is! 1 raampje dat "uitzicht" geeft op een plat dakje van 2x2 en verder hoge muren alom. Toegang tot kamer via stijl trapje naar beneden (kamer is in souterrain).

+ Right around the middle of all the tourist stuff in Amsterdam. On a nice canal, if you get a good room its really nice, but if you get a small room it won't be.

- They do not take credit cards, contrary to their advertisements. The employees are all very negative and kinda of shady always hanging outside of the hotel and looking at you strangely when you want to come inside. The LARGEST COMPLAINT EVER: the entire hotel is full of mosquitos because the back of the hotel is constantly covered in stagnant water. The hotel staff who cleans the rooms during the day has a nasty habit of opening all the windows after you've closed them all, and this lets in mosquitos. In one night of hunting we killed maybe 15 mosquitos, and still each of us had at least 20 bites the next day. Rather unconducive for sleeping habits, even with copious quantities of legalized herbal remedies.

+ Quality and value is excellent. Very quiet location which is a little bit of walk from the coffe shops and red light district. It's a bed and breakfast with a communal kitchen and dining room.

- Staff is gone after 4PM so not much interaction if you need help with your room. No security personnel. We got our valuable items stolen because someone got into the place pretending to be a guest.

+ Ottimo l'uso cucina per chi vuole risparmiare o ha bambini. Personale discreto e gentile. Stanza tripla confortevole con due ambienti separati. Ubicazione fantastica: siete in pieno centro ma in un angolino tranquillo.

- Ingresso squallido può dare un'impressione negativa. Scala molto ripida.

+ Excellent value ( we stayed off-season). Very spacious attic room for only 56 euro. Friendly, informal, free access to kitchen facilities, coffee/tea/etc 24 hrs. Manuel, the manager, super-friendly. Would definitely recommend to others,, and would return ourselves.

- no minus points at all.
