• + Rooms are good size, just steps to efteling park, resturant taste's too good and above all breakfast is awesome.
• – Not close to local markets to shop arround.
• * my tip Use this hotel if you are going solely for Efteling Park.

• + Child's dream comes true in this hotel. Very nicly smiling people. Great team put up quality show in the lobby. Breakfast was designed for kids. Beautiful Wonder Water suite. Plenty of candy. Good bar with nice choise of beer for parents.
• – Don't see any. It was just perfect. People of Nederlands should be proud of the Eftling. Thanks.

a great experience for the young and old

• + this is the second year my family and i have stayed at the hotel and enjoyed every minute of it its great to find a hotel which is really child freindly keep up the good work
• – it would be good if the park was open a little later at the begining of july also you could change the menu for room service as it was the same as last year

Going to Efterling Park? This is the place to stay...

• + If you wish to visit de Efterling Park then this hotel is perfectly situated nearby. If you can call ahead try to reserve the themed suites they offer, worth the money for a bit of magic in your stay. My girlfriend is a celiac and cannot eat gluten, the hotel restaurant was very good at providing glten free food. ***** Service for gluten free.
• – When the park closes at 6 find out if there is a quicker way back to the hotel.

Excellent hotel to stay for Efteling Park!!

• + very child-friendly hotel, playroom inside the hotel as well as outside playground. received small gifts for children. excellent location for Efteling amusement park. food was great too!
• – the room was small and a bit old but I highly recommend if you are to go to the Efteling park as it is very convinient and you will get special offer!!

comfortable nights at efteling

• + being close to rides and being able to get in before other guests
• – gate to hotel at playground closing at 6.30 should stay open till 7 to allow time to walk out at leisure

Great location if visiting the amusement park.

• + Perfect for a day or 2 at the park.
• – The beds were very soft and caused us to sink into the middle. It's very dated and could do with a big update.

A great alternative to Disneyland

• + A comfortable and friendly place to stay with children which is ideally located for access to the Efteling theme park. The hotel is well served by regular local buses that take you to either of the nearest major train stations.
• – The hotel and theme park are much busier on Fridays and weekends and the breakfast service is clearly under pressure on these days. Basic breakfast items often temporarily run out and you can find yourself waiting around before they are replenished.

Convenient and Comfortable

• + Close proximity to the Efteling. Entrance to the Efteling via private gate and 15 minutes before the park's opening time. Very child orientated.

• – Breakfast buffet had very limited selection and quality of food was not what I would have expected from a 4* Hotel.

Fantastic for the whole family!!

• + Amazing hotel, even the 'basic' rooms are full of character and contain far more facilities for the price. We got a VERY good deal through this website. Brilliant play area by restaurant, indoor and outdoor. Food was superb. Go outside in the dark and make sure you get photos of the hotel lit up at night, it is stunning.
• – No minus points for hotel unless you count very long wait for check in/out at busy times but hey, just go when it's quiet! One tip for families visiting Efteling park - MAKE SURE you find out when 'family' days are on, and avoid the first 2 weeks in July when the Dutch schools finish, we managed to go on a hideously busy day when security confirmed there were 6000 youths, fights, trouble, complaints...lots of the park was spoiled for us and our poor little boys asking when they could leave! Efteling on any other day is WONDERFUL. Ok so this is not linked to the wonderful hotel but DO bear this in mind!!

Max out your stay at this convenient hotel

• + Great theme hotel - nice addition to the park
• – While we were allowed in the park at 9:45 - none of the major rides were open yet.Bit of a disappointment.

A good qaulity, well situated hotel with very freindly staff.

• + Nice, freindly and helpful staff as always, location great for the park. The hotel is always clean, tidy and welcoming. The Hotel is well situated for travelling to and from Calais, easy and straightforward to find by road thus making the holiday completly stress free.
• – The menu in the main resturant is not reallu ideal for families and very pricey. The bar area was good as the children can play in the playroom whilst you watch them, the food offered bettervalue but the menu is not varied that much and hasn't changed at all in over 3 years of visiting. One or two different meals would make a big difference as chips with everything or salad gets a little much after 2 nights. The bar staff are very helpful and welcoming though particularly Harold and Henry!

• + The hotel is perfectly located and was really in keeping with the whole Efteling experience. The characters who entertained the children at breakfast time were excellent and got our visit to the park off to a magical start.

• + Good ambient conditions
• – Bed sheets had stains and dirty marks.

• – A rather expensive hotel, due to the location in/near the Efteling park.

• + Right next to the Efteling Park; provides early and special access to the park for it's guests. For the children, the experience starts even before they get to the park.

• + Very nice atmosphere, very nice animators in the lobby. Great for children (and also adults)

• + wonderful and very comfortable rooms very pleasant pub a so nice athmosphere thank you for this stay at your location
• – it would much appreciated if you could initiate any kind of nice activity in the hotel at evening time
