Stenden University Hotel is a 4-star hotel on the north side of Leeuwarden, the capital of the province of Friesland. The hotel is part of the 'Hotelschool', the hotel and catering school, in Leeuwarden. This means you can enjoy the service of a young, international and enthusiastic staff that is eager to learn. Food and Drinks
In the morning a continental breakfast buffet is set up, on weekdays between 07:00 and 09:30 and during the weekend between 08:00 and 11:00. Stenden University Hotel also houses a restaurant that was opened in September 2007: Restaurant.nl. This restaurant offers a variety of dishes, all of which are prepared with care by the students. The dishes are based on the 'New Dutch cuisine', with added influences from all over the world. The restaurant is from 1st of September 2011 closed for lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. In addition, Stenden University Hotel has a hotel bar, which is open daily from 08:00 tot 00:00. In this bar and in the lobby, which offers comfortable armchairs and a reading table, you can enjoy a nice drink.

- The hotel has a 24-hour reception. Guests can check in until 22:00 h., or at a later time on request.
- It's not possible to place an additional bed for adults in the room, only for children under 12.

Surroundings
Stenden University Hotel lies in a quiet area on the north side of Leeuwarden. The hotel is within walking distance from two public gardens, the 'Rengerspark' and the 'Noorderplantage'. A city bus stops outside of the hotel, which offers guests a good connection to the city centre. With no less than 575 designated monuments, Leeuwarden is a city that is visibly rich in history. Especially the diversity of monuments is impressive: one can admire, among other things, churches, mills and warehouses. Leeuwarden also has many lively cafés, restaurants, and nightlife venues.

The restaurant is from 1st of September 2011 closed for lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast will be served in the weekend. Exceptions are groups of 20 or more.
