Description
Stayokay Hostel is well positioned on the banks of the river Meuse, in the heart of Maastricht. Within walking distance are the sqaure Onze Lieve Vrouwe (Our Blessed Lady) with its beautiful basilica. In the historic city there are many charming streets with beautiful buildings and small exclusive shops.
Stayokay has a sleek and trendy interior, with a refreshing and friendly character. The hostel has an attractive brasserie, a bar, a restaurant and a lovely lounge area, where you can relax after an active day. There are extensive conference facilities as well, so Hostel Stayokay is suitable for tourist as well as business guests. Hostel Stayokay is well-suited for (larger) groups. To discover the beautiful surroundings of Maastricht, you can make use of the rental bikes of the hostel.
The hostel has 38 rooms, including four-, five-and six-person rooms. The rooms are basic, but furnished tastefully and trendy with bunk beds and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. A sheets package is included in the room price, towels are for rent at the reception.
Food and Drinks
Breakfast is served on weekdays from 07:30 to 09:30 h. and weekends from 08:00 to 10:30 h. The convivial brasserie and bar Bite & Drink are open from noon to midnight. In winter, Bar&Drink is open from 17:00 h. to midnight. Weather permitting, you can enjoy the sunshine on the terrace by the water.

Surroundings
Maastricht is a historic city with many beautiful buildings, but it is also suitable for shop-a-holics. There are many shops, ranging from exclusive boutiques to large department stores. Outside of Maastricht, you can discover the Limburg hills from the various hiking and cycling tracks. Towns such as Valkenburg and Aachen (Germany) are also worth a visit.

Once you book a single bed in a six persons dormitory there is the possibility that you will share the room with 5 other guests, the room is not booked for single use only.
The twin room has two separate beds. If you want a room with a double bed, you can make a note of this in the remarksfield during the registration of your booking.

- The hostel has a municipal parking lot next to the hostel. There are approximately 250-300 parking spaces with room for six touringcars. Paid parking on Monday to Saturday from 08.00 to 18.00 h., Thursdayevening and on Sunday (when the shops are open), a day ticket costs € 6. There are also enough parkingspaces in the parking lot of the MECC, the parking under the 'Markt', the 'Vrijthof' and the Station. Parking will be at an additional charge.

- A maximum of 2 children can stay in the parents' room and receive a discount of €5,50 per child per night. (childeren between 2 and 12 years). It is also possible to book a quadroom or a room for five persons. Children under the age of 2 years can stay in the parents' room for free, a cot will be placed in the room. A cot is available on request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.
