Appartementen Hotel Bella Vista is situated in the historic area of Scheveningen, just 150 metres away from the beach and the lively boulevard. The hotel was beautifully renovated in 2007 and offers its guests a very well-appointed and affordable accommodation on an ideal location.

Apart from stylishly decorated hotel rooms, Appartementen Hotel Bella Vista also contains spacious apartments for a maximum of four people. The hotel is situated in the old part of Scheveningen, at a mere 5-minute walk away from the busy tourist area. Major attractions such as the 'Pier' and the 'Circustheater' are within close range as well. What's more, the tram and bus stop can be found in front of the hotel, which makes the city centre of The Hague very easy to reach.

The current management has taken over the hotel in 2006 and soon bought the adjacent premises, which they have thoroughly reconstructed in the authentic style of the building. It now accommodates the reception, lounge and a meeting room. The enthusiastic hotel staff of Bella Vista will do their utmost to make your stay a very pleasant one. They can help you make reservations for a restaurant or theatre show, for example, or provide interesting tourist information. They are always happy to help you.

The hotel offers standard rooms, deluxe rooms, suites and apartments. They are all decorated in a warm and modern style. You have access to wireless Internet with your own laptop (at a charge) in the rooms as well as the apartments.

This accommodation is situated next to the Circus Theatre and the stop from tram number 9 that leaves at the central train station. Food and Drinks

Daily you can enjoy the elaborate breakfast in the breakfast room from 07:00 to 10:30 h. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but the staff will be happy to help you find one to soothe your taste, as the variation in the near vicinity is quite abundant.

Internet

Guests can make use of the wireless Internet connection in all rooms and apartments at a charge of €2.50 a day. At the reception you can purchase an Internet code for the duration of your stay.

Surroundings

The renowned Scheveningen 'Pier' is less than one kilometre from Appartementen Hotel Bella Vista. It is 300 metres long and is the perfect place to admire the magnificent view of the sea during a romantic stroll. On rainy days you can go on a shopping spree in the covered shopping-arcade, place a bet in the casino or have a nice dinner in the restaurant. The 'Circustheater', where you can attend a spectacular musical or theatrical performance, is in the direct surroundings of the hotel as well.

Very pleasant visit, great for the tram to city centre

Very well maintained hotel. Excellent location right beside the No. 1 tram stop. Cleaned thoroughly every day. Helpful staff.

There are two buildings owned by the hotel, make sure you know which one you are staying in as this caused confusion for my taxi driver! It is a bit on the pricey side but for a short stay in the Hague where you would like your own kitchen it cannot be beaten.

Excellent old dutch style house

Excellent old dutch style hotel. In fact it is a dutch house converted into hotel. We have booked a triple room, but they have provided apartment in the same rate with a kitchenette & bedroom on the 2nd floor. Excellent bathroom facilities. 2 minutes walk to a beach. Tram stop just in front of the hotel but to take 9 number tram, you need to walk arount 5 minutes. Unfortunately we could stay only for 1 day but i would definitely recommend this hotel for a bit longer stay

Location was at south end of main beach area, a 1-1/2 block away from the beach. Close to Museum at Sevenignen and less than 5 minute walk to Old Town. Line 1 tram stop was directly outside of hotel.

Room was simple. No small refrigerator for leftovers or adequate room for larger luggage. Didn't try breakfast, but going to Old Town was less expensive.

i reserved for two days and cancelled the first and the woman on the phone promised me to try to rent the room, so that we dont have to pay for it this night. They told us that they couldnt rent it, but our friends who arrived the first night had to stay in the luxus apartement, because all other rooms were occupied! so the hotelmanager cheated us!!!! and thats really bad!

Worse service hotel that I have been in. Asked the hotel front desk for assistance in finding address for a location. The reply, I am busy and don't have time to search! Thou', she relented in checking her internet ONCE, thereafter is the same "don't bother me" attitude. What kind of service is that? Guess their only saving grace is a proper room and location close to the beach, that is if you can put up with the service. I definitely won't recommend this hotel!

There is a tram stop just opposite the hotel and another one just round the corner.

As the stairs are steep (just like any other dutch house!!) a lift would have made a difference especially if one has heavy luggage. Regarding the location, this is a subjective point. The hotel was advertised as being within 26 meters to the Hotel Kurhouse, where I was attending a conference, the correct distance is nearer 80 meters; i did not mind this as the brisk walk is good exercise. Perhaps breakfast could be included in the price.

mooi ingericht en vond die citroengeur die er hing aangenaam

gehorig. heb last gehad van een ruzieend stel die naar meerdere verzoeken maar niet stil waren. om half 3 werd ik wakker in een rook/wiet lucht. toen heb ik personeel gebeld, die was er in 5 minuten. wel is een nadeel dit in hotel 2 geen receptie zit, waardoor het een beetje anoniem en ongecontroleerd is.

Mooie, ruime kamer en geweldige locatie. Binnen 5 minuten waren we aan het strand.

Gehorige kamers. We konden 's avonds soms letterlijk horen wat mensen tegen elkaar zeiden. Ook als iemand de duur dicht deed hoorde je dat heel erg goed. Uitzicht was heel slecht, we keken uit op de waskamer van het hotel. Mensen liepen echt precies langs ons raam. We hebben het hele verblijf de gordijnen dicht gehouden.

Prima prijs/kwaliteit

De ligging is zeer gunstig t.o.v. het circustheater, centrum scheveningen en het strand. Ook centrum Den Haag is in 1 lange rechte weg te bereiken. Prijs/kwaliteit is prima, vriendelijk personeel, dichtbij gratis parkeren, Ontbijt was PERFECT. Wanneer wij weer naar scheveningen gaan, zullen we proberen hier weer een kamertje te bemachtigen.

De poetsdames waren erg scheutig geweest met de citroenfris op de kamer, waardoor de neusslijmvliezen erg geprikkeld werden. Verder waren en her en der wat "verdachte plekken" te vinden, poetswerk had beter gekunt.
