Probably they have to improve the indication for arriving to the hotel and for the parking area near the hotel. if you arrive by car they are too little and you can see them only when it's too late.

Hotel has great potential with a few adjustments

The staff was very courteous. They brought room service very quickly even at late hours and brought an iron and ironing board to my room despite the late hour and housekeeping being closed. The bathrobes were a nice touch.

I was not informed at check in the my wing was under construction and offered an available room in the other wing. The room was available because I requested it the following day. I had to wait a long time for service at the front desk. Many people were waiting. There two people at reception, one of which remained on the telephone and ignored the growing line. My key did not work despite them reprogramming it when I entered the hotel, when I returned to the front desk I had to wait for 15 minutes for them to program the key again. There were no phones on my floor beside the elevator to call the front desk and inform them to bring another key. I had to go back to the front desk. At 6 AM construction began above my head. It sounded like the machines were coming into the room. I could not sleep. I called the front desk who said they would "send someone" as if they did not know about the construction, which continued. You should have smoking rooms available in your hotel. Especially in the rooms which have not yet been renovated. The internet cord should be available in each room. I had to go back to the front desk to collect one. All guests intend to use the internet. The shower in my room ran only cold water and my breakfast was undercooked (soft boiled eggs were served instead of hard boiled eggs) making it inedible.

Parking space is bad...to think it's an expensive hotel no parking space exclusive for the guests Efficiency & politeness of the staffs...we used the breakfast, i requested for utensils and coffee your staff agreed but not until i called another staff. No one is in the reception area for the restaurant during breakfast to recieve your guest I feel that there was no consideration was given to think we only requested for another 2 hrs extra to spend time together since we did also our late check in...we're honeymooners

Uncertainty about early access to room - important after overnight travel from US. Small room for price. Balcony not as portrayed on booking website = very small. Two beds means twin beds = small. Bathtub access may be too high for elderly. Carpet not clean, easy chair stained, and venter grate in front of balcony door filthy. Personnel in restaurant unfriendly after we ordered just coffee and we were re-seated twice.

my wife got very ill the first night we arrived, we found out it was some bad food, it came from the kitchens,she was ill the whole of the stay and we missed our son playing rugby because she was too ill to travel,the hotel gave us a bit of money back but this really did spoil our whole trip we will not be staying there again if we go to holland with our son on the rugby trip,we got no help from the staff and the manager was off on holiday, he only spoke to us after we got home,as you can imagine we feel very let down

Prijs/kwaliteit is niet in verhouding. Kamer is aan de kleine kant voor een 5 sterren.Bij het ontbijt krijgt men niet waar men voor betaal het is allemaal wat gewoontjes.Tijdens het ontbijt is het erg ongezellig. De tafels staan te dicht op elkaar. het gekras van stoelpoten op de vloer is hinderlijk.

Prima kamers en prachtige locatie. Receptie medewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk en professioneel.

Bediening in de Kurhaus zaal vonden wij ondanks de prachtige ambiance erg te wensen overlaten, als je niet aan de bar zat werd je gewoonweg niet opgemerkt. De bedden waren heerlijk maar hadden een vreemde molton onder het laken met plooien en harde randjes wat het comfort erg benadeelde. De ramen waren vies wat vervelend is wanneer je speciaal een kamer met seaview boekt.

De interne communicatie bij problemen laat zwaar te wensen over. Zo werd de kamer niet schoongemaakt, pas nadat we geklaagd hadden, werkte internet pas na 1 dag (na klacht) en was het elektrische deel van het bed defect en kwam de monteur 1 uur voor het uitchecken. Men had verder beloofd de kosten van internet niet in rekening te brengen maar die stonden er gewoon op en de receptie wist (natuulijk) van niks. Voor vertrek zou er nog even gepraat worden met housekeeping maar men was 'bezig' (navraag door de receptie) en zou later nog wel terugbellen (moet nog gebeuren). Kortom: uitermate teleurstellend. Geen aanrader en dat zal ik dus ook wel erbij vertellen als men mij vraagt hoe het was in het Kurhaus.

Het waren 2 fantastische dagen

in eerste instantie een minpunt, de kamer was om 15.00 uur nog niet gereed. kregen een bon voor glas champagne, maar daar was ook weer een wachttijd voordat we plaats hadden. nog een keer wezen vragen waar we de bagage op konden slaan, omdat we om 16.30 uur buiten het hotel iets gereserveerd hadden. Toen kregen we een hele mooie suite aangeboden zonder bijbetaling. voelden ons toen heel gelukkig.

Een mooie kerstbeleving

De ontvangst was optimaal door uitermate vriendelijk personeel. De sfeer was fantastisch. De kamer was prima verzorgd en het bed sliep heerlijk. Al met al een ervaring die je niet vaak meer beleefd. Tot spoedig weerziens.

mooi hotel maar geen oog voor de omgeving, zeer onveilig in de winter

Uitzicht op zee en de geweldige zaal met geschiedenis!

Wij zijn er geweest toen het behoorlijk had gesneeuw. Voor en om het Kurgouse was niet gestrooid nog was er sneeuw geruimd. van uit ons raam zagen we vrachtwagen in problemen en hebben diverse mensen zien vallen. We hebben de manager er op aangespoken en die zou iets doen maar 16 uur later was de situatie nog hopeloos. Ik vind het eigenlijk schandalig dat een hotelketen als Steigenberger het niet voor elkaar krijgt iemand de omgeving veilig te maken.

- Uitstekende ligging en uitstekende kamer, bediening was super. - Compliment voor de heerlijke bedden en kussens. - Het was voor ons het eerste verblijf bij jullie, maar zeker een aanrader en komen zeker terug.

- Als je in bad gaat douchen, is de badkamer nat! Het was praktischer geweest als het glazen scherm iets verder was doorgetrokken. - De weegschaal was voorzien van een flinke laag stof (het leesgedeelte). - Het duurde lang voordat de kamer warm was. Ik zou het fijner vinden als de kamer al een beetje op temperatuur was, zeker als het kouder is.

Auf den zweiten Blick, dass Geld nicht wert.

Die LAge des Hotels ist hervorragend und das Zimmer das uns zugeteilt wurde hatte eine herrlichen Blick auf das Meer. Der Service beim Empfang, ob schon vor oder bereits im Eingang des Hotels war vorbildlich. Freundlich wurden wir empfangen udn sehr nett wieder verabschiedet. Schön fanden wir die Zutrittskarte für das Casino.

Die Reinigung des Zimmers erfolgte jeden Tag unzureichend. Trotz Reklamation, änderte sich der Zustand nicht. Das Bad z.B. wurde nicht komplett gewischt. Die Möblierung im Zimmer waren sehr 'abgewohnt'. Für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie habe ich andere Erwartungen an die Möbel. Die Minibar war verschmutz und die Kühlung funktionierte nicht korrekt.
