+ People who works in the hotel are doing maximum for the clients to be happy. Nobody disturb me during my stay. room was very little but clean. I didn´t expect breakfast that good for that small price...there was choice of everything,and even fresh fruits (in the winter). I already try other 3hotels arround,but i will defenetly go back to this one.

+ Breakfast at Hotel Mimosa was absolutely magnificent: wide choice of fresh fruit, sweet and salty bites and spreads, teas and coffee - all in a nicely decorated inner courtyard. Worthy of a 5 star hotel!

- The room could have done with more thorough cleaning (e.g. carpets and ceiling) to give it a more polished look. We got a room at the top of (typically Dutch) steep stairs - would have been nice to have the choice of a more accessible room.

+ Greeted by a very friendly and helpful owner who made us very welcome. Nice location and excellent quality for a 2*. Have stayed at far worse 3* plus.

- Ensure bed sheets are spotless you can't afford loosing customers over bed sheets especially because all the rest is above average! Do something about it and get yourself an extra star :-)

+ Cleanness, a very good breakfast, vicinity to transport, beach and entertainment facilities, friendly staff (except when I was late for breakfast and could not have it. That is an area where staff attitude could have been better i.e. more tolerant).

- As far as minus points are concerned, there is little that the management can do to improve the situation. Namely, the biggest fault of this hotel - in my view - is the lack of space - very small rooms and toilets, extremely narrow staircase etc.

+ I booked a single room with a shared bathroom and I was offered a tripple room with ensuite bathroom - great!. The room had a kettle with cups and a choice of tea, etc. A few mins away from the beach, so that I managed to catch a sunset on the beach. Fantastic breakfast!! A lot of brochures etc in the hotel and on your breakfast table, incl.the map of the Hague, so that you know what are your options in the town.

+ Nice Hotel, very friendly, clean and comfortable, as I am a smoker I requested a balcony and luckily was given a room with one, some other people have nit picked this hotel but I would advise you to ignore them, as they are just moaners.

- smoking rooms are not available, do not expect the fixtures of more expensive hotels.

+ It was very pleasant to have breakfast in the garden, those heaters were very handy as it was already a bit chilly in the morning. I found that place charming. And of course the staff was very nice and helpful all the time

- Carpet in room..... needed cleaning and had cigarette burns on it.Not enough clothes hangers in wardrobe.These are vey minor problems.

+ Close to coast and conference hotel. Good range of food for breakfast (included in price when I was there). Friendly and helpful staff, room cleaned well every day, I got breakfast early on last day because of my timetable which did not cause problems. Flat screen TV in room with good range of channels.

- Taxi tried to take me to Rembrandtstraat (but hotel is very close to number 9 tram that goes straight to central station). As with many Dutch houses, stairs are steep and curved with no lift, so take care.

- Like scaling a cliff getting up the stairs to the first floor - no lift obviously. Dirty balcony with tatty sheds to feast your eyes upon. Parking impossible in the street unless you put in 4 euros every 2 hours until midnight!

- was more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel.have stayed in better hotels for less. Bathroom facility very cramped. Very difficult staircase to negotiate with a suitcase or for use by very elderly or infirm.

+ Really wonderful breakfast, which almost made us forget a really bad night's sleep!

- Room was in souterrain - mold on the walls of the bathroom, to which 2 of us are allergic. Souterrain location also resulted in a lot of noise coming into the room, particularly as the window vents appeared locked into an "open" position.

+ Het hotel is ideaal gelegen t.o.v. het Circustheater en de boulevard. Als men de sleutel ontvangen heeft, is men verder volkomen vrij in zijn doen en laten. Het ontbijt is zeer goed verzorgd.

- Men moet goed ter been zijn; het is een hele klim naar de bovenste verdieping. De bovenste etage was nu rustig, maar het zou anders wel gehorig zijn.
