The Ibis Amsterdam Airport hotel is ideally located for travellers, business people and tourists who want to explore Amsterdam. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from Schiphol Airport. From there you can take a direct train to Amsterdam Central Station. The RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre is easily accessible as well.

You will be surprised how much this 3-star hotel has to offer. Apart from the spacious and modern rooms, the hotel is also provided with no less than three restaurants, a bar, an outside terrace, four conference rooms and access to wireless internet in all rooms. The free shuttle service takes the guests to and from Schiphol Airport between 04:30 and 01:30h. Follow the 'hotel shuttles' signs to exit D. At bus stop A9 you will find the Ibis shuttle bus.

Food and Drinks

The sumptuous breakfast is served between 04:00 and 12:00 h. Between 04:00 and 06:00 h. there is no buffet, but a small breakfast is served at the table.You can enjoy affordable and delicious meals in the cosy à la carte restaurant l'Estaminet from 17:30 until 22:30 h. The Pizza & Pasta Restaurant on the fourth floor is the place to be if you prefer Italian food. Small dishes such as sandwiches, salads, soups and hamburgers are served 24 hours a day in the Star Class Café.

The coffee corner is open daily from 07:00 till 13:00 h. In the afternoon and evening you can enjoy a drink in the company of your friends in the Red Baron bar.

Internet

You can use wireless internet in every room at a charge. Tickets can be obtained at the reception. The internet computer in the lobby can be used at a charge as well.

Good worker and credit A/club

The reception agreed to type in wake-up time and said at booking in it was done but no wake-up call (03.45) was received, so something went wrong. Then the bus was broken, Then the bus-driver brought me in his own car, since he understood the predicament. I made the flight just before they closed the gate. Never ran that much over the last few years. Thank the driver once more from me, and place him on top of the worker of the month.

Great location near airport! 24 hr restaurant Free shuttle bus to airport every 10 or 20 minutes. Very convenient! One waitress was very helpfull when the buffet ran out of food and drinks.

The matrasses are very hard. The room is small for 3 people (no room to open 3 suitcases) One waitress was not interested at all when the buffet ran out of orange juice.

Convenient and comfortable

Abillity to check-in any time of the day is great. We flew in early in the morning,@06.00AM, took the shuttle bus to Ibis hotel, checked in and were in bed by 07.00 for a much needed rest. Very friendly lady at the counter. No noise from the nearby airport at all.

The room was a bit small, but convenient enough for one overnight stay.

1) There was no fridge and electric kettle in the room. 2) Bathroom was very clean, however there was some problem with ventilation system as it was slightly smelly almost all the time 3) It was impossible to rise temperature in the room 4) Initial invoice for stay did not include discount and had to be corrected with additional credit after the printout of original offer and booking was presented in the reception! 5) There was no schedule of the shuttle displayed anywhere close to the bus stop (leaflet was available at the reception upon enquiry)

Parking ok, but no extras and unacceptable internet price

If you arrive by car, the Park and Fly package is good - about 20 Euros extra for up to 3 weeks parking, which is much cheaper and more convenient than leaving your car at the Schipol carpark. Frequent free bus to and from the airport.

Absolutely scandalous internet price - 18 Euros per hour!!! There is nowhere to put your soap/shampoo in the shower - a small point but extremely irritating - and only 1 tiny piece of soap for 2 people. So absolutely no extras. The reception staff do their job, but you feel a lack of warmth or interest - for example, the girl was chatting with another receptionist as she handed me the check-in documents.

When overnighting at Schipohl I would stay at the Ibis Hotel.

Very clean, great shower, comfortable bed, good staff and good food in the 4th floor restaurant. Very good transportation to Schipohl.

Too many people smoking in non-smoking rooms (I don't know what you do about that.) The hallway smelled of smoke. Room ventilation was poor - A/C unit didn't work well. The mattress wasn't well attached to the bed.

It's OK for the price.

Good price, service and reception. They provided in time a baby crib for free.

15 minutes from the airport. The rooms are small. One of the restaurants was full and they refused to open the other one until we complained. The waiter was pretty upset.

On the evening of 9/30 went to the front desk for a wakeup call for 10/1 at 6am. No wakeup call happen and fortunately we wokeup at 6:30 and rushed to make our flight. Wakeup calls are very important at a airport hotel.

It is a pity there are no door-closers in the rooms. When you want to go in with heavy luggage the door doesn't stay open, but this probably has to do with fire preventions.

The best point is the location and free, reliable transport to the airport. The hotel is spare, but clean and very practical and efficient.

The restaurants are over priced and the food not great. Also, the lights in the rooms are not efficient. In particular, the light for the hall and the bathroom are the same, so when you put on the bathroom light you disturb the other person sleeping in the main room.

Unusually dirty hallways; nice room

My first impression was the hallways; they appeared not to have been vacuumed in a long time. They were covered everywhere with bits of paper, dust, etc. I could only wonder what my room would be like or the condition of the kitchens. I'm not sure the price will be enough to make me consider another stay at IBIS.

Airport sufficiency and functionality

A hotel sleep factory. Perfectly located, bus was indeed free and ran frequently enough we didn't worry about. Not a "special place", but just fine if you have a morning flight from Schiphol. A little expensive but airports are high rent districts. Room very clean and utilitarian. Save time and use the self service check in and check out, particularly if you show up right when the shuttle bus unloads 20 people.

The breakfast is ludicrously expensive and we couldn't even find a cup of coffee. We just rode the bus to Schiphol and choose from all the nice places to have a bite to eat there - much cheaper. Lights lighting up the building shine in the windows so you have to close the curtains, which we happen not to like since you miss the morning light.

Convenient and pleasant stay so close to the airport

Pleasant and dedicated reception personnel. Hotel positioned very convenient for travellers and with an excellent shuttle service to and from Schiphol airport. I stayed at your hotel many times now over a long period of time and everytime it was a success.We enjoyed a splendid supper at the French restaurant. Keep it up. Good place to stay, better if complementary water is provided

The shuttle bus is a convenient way to get to the airport for connections to Amsterdam. Although near the airport, the room is very quiet and you can hardly hear aircraft noise.

At the time of check in, the staff handling the check in was not familiar with the procedure - later found out she was an intern (trainee). Also, no complimentary water was provided.
