A weekend 1 night stay

• + friendly staff especially the room service lady !
• – * my request for bed type could not be granted. Should have told me before so I could have booked a different hotel. * breakfast buffet extremely poor presentation and selection. (yes, it was a busy sunday morning, however that should be anticipated and not letting most items run out at 10:00)

good for city centre

• + near to train station amd city centre also Beatrix Theatre Ok for short stop. Typical city Hotel
• – if you are light sleeper noise from trains could be problem , but this didn;t affect us

Good compromise for both business and tourism

• + Location for station, good breakfast, good value when breakfast is included in the room rate, free wifi, if a little clunky.
• – Avoid room facing the railway line - more noise.

Miss

• + I got an upgrade which I was extremely pleased with, it was only my second visit. I hope to visit again soon now I know how nice the executive rooms are:-)

Great location for short stays

• + Very near railway station and Jarbeurs
• – Slight noise from the railway on one side of the hotel
• * my tip Very near to Jarbeurs and the theatre

An excellent all-round experience.

• + Close to station, easy check-in, polite and efficient staff, free Internet with printer in reception for airline on-line check in. Good bar menu.
• – Reception is a little small for informal business meetings
• * my tip If you have business in Utrecht the Park Plaza offers the best all round experience with easy access to most parts of the country.

A nice hotel at a reasonable price

• + Hotel is located within 10min walk of railway station and 20min walk to town centre. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.
• – Breakfast was expensive and, although it was buffet style, there was limited hot food on offer, eg no freshly made egg station. Also guest internet facility was not working during our stay though reception let me use their pc to check in our flights.
• * my tip If you want breakfast book in advance as price is more expensive if you just turn up on the day.

Top hotel, maar beschimmelde badkamers

• + Snelle handeling na constatering probleem. Uiteindelijk geplaats in een executive room tegen zelfde tarief.
• – Na constatering dat de geboekte kamer , de badkamer vol schimmel zat, kreeg ik een ander kamer aangeboden. Deze zat ook vol schimmel. Waarschijnlijk zijn alle kamer; op de 4e etage beschimmeld. Het zijn ook de kamers tegen een laag tarief. Hygienisch is dit niet en de kamers dienen ook niet te worden aangeboden!! Schimmel is niet van de een op andere dag. Men moet ervan op de hoogte zijn. Iedergeval het huishoudelijk personeel die de kamers schoonmaakt!
• * my tip Op zich is het Parkplaza een geweldig hotel, kom er vaker. Maar op dit moment raad ik het niemand aan, tenzij er een excutive room geboekt wordt. Er is sprake van erge schimmelvorming in de badkamer, 2kmr wat ik weet. Op dezelfde etage. Het personeel is geweldig, maar ik vraag me af of men niet op de hoogte is of afwacht op de reactie van de klant

Excellant location

• + Location is very good
• – Slightly expensive, especially breakfast

Friendly service oriented hotel

• + Super friendly, service orientated, close to jaarbeurs, parking! Comfortable. Just what i expect from a hotel.
• – Can hear airco (or something) the entire time.

Standard hotel - nice and clean

• + Conveniently located next to Central Station in Utrecht; Got a nice package deal with breakfast, wine/chocolates in the room and late check out included; friendly receptionist and comfortable bed; quite big bath in the room
• – As the hotel is located next to Central Station - the view from the windows is on a quite busy street. There are no smoking rooms to choose. We've got a package deal but until we've mentioned that to the receptionist - it wasn't considered. Movies on demand - free previews for all of them didn't work. Mini bar was empty in the room - only to be filled in on request. Parking of the hotel was expensive but not secured - there is a big sign saying "watch out for thieves". If you pay quite much to park you would at least expect to have your car secured... The bartender at the hotel needs a bartender training - putting your finger inside the martini bottle while pourring a drink is definitely not according to high bartender standards

Fine except for the expensive bad breakfast

• – Their breakfast was below average and they charged almost 20 EUR for it.

Pleasant hotel for either business or pleasure

• + A comfortable and friendly hotel. The rooms were spacious enough and offered free internet access. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout. The breakfast menu was sufficiently varied with different hot food on offer each day. Oh, and the bar does superb coffee for a very reasonable price!
• – The hotel isn't situated in the prettiest of locations but it is handy if you have arrived by train (5 minutes walk from the central station).

Comfortable Lodging and Good Customer Service

• + The rooms were comfortable and were well equipped for all the basic necessities. The best part of the stay was the helpful and professional attitude of the hotel staff.
• – Would be good to provide a few newspapers,magazines,books to read Would be helpful if you could have a smoking lounge on the floors itself or provide some rooms where smoking can be allowed.

• – Unable to reserve a private parking space upfront.

Must be considered if you visit Utrecht.

• + Convenient location close to railway station. Positive staff - friendly and welcoming. Comfortable rooms. Good conference facilities

Not really value for your money ...

• + Close to the centre of Utrecht. Walking distance.
• – Windows cannot open. Room smelled awkward, not fresh at all. Interior of the room looks old fashioned and used. You don't hear the trains of the nearby train station, but you can feel the vibrations when lying in bed, which is also disturbing for a good nights sleep. Difficulties to make staff understand that you want a double room and not a twin room, finally you give up as the only option seems to be to accept the twin room.

Pleasant hotel in good location.

Functional hotel, close to central station

• + Very convenient near the central station. Free wi-fi, comfortable bathroom, tv: everything I'd ask for in a hotel room. Not very pretty, but very functional.
• – Design nog very pretty, but functional. Walking to the hotel later at night by myself felt a little dodgy. The area right behind the central station is not the safest...
