Superb location, friendly staff, excellent accommodation.

Great location, including not extortionate on-site parking, with very friendly reception staff (the only staff we had occasion to speak to). Well appointed room and good facilities throughout. Very nice to ask for a double room and not, as is usual in Holland, just get a room with two singles pushed together!

I feel I'm cheating by describing us as a young couple!

Very close to the main railway station.

Service in the restaurant was poor, and the radiator was turned off in the room even though it was -3 outside, which meant that the room was cold. When you turned the radiator on, it was buried behind the full length curtains.

Breakfast- pay for it as part of your room rate and you won't regret it. Rooms away from the train tracks are spot on!

The hotel is not in a tourist part of town - its very convenient for the train, bus and car but you have a 15 min walk to the museums, boutique shops, tower etc.

Extra belasting a 4 euro moeten betalen bij uitchecken. Dit komt niet zo sympathiek over. Prima om die 4 euro belasting te betalen, maar dan vooraf. Als ik vooraf de kamer betaal, wil ik alles meteen geregeld hebben en niet nog achteraf voor zo'n klein bedrag lastig worden gevallen. Dringend advies dus om die belasting meteen in de prijs bij het boeken mee te nemen.

The hotel is very clean and conveniently located near the station. We were lucky to get a good deal so the price was good. We ate in the brasserie and I have to say the food was excellent.

None, except that we got stuck in the lift and couldn't get in when we returned late at night - in both cases it took a while for reception to help us! I suspect this is just the normal chilled-out Dutch pace so not really a problem.

All of the staff were very respectful and helpful during our stay. The location was perfect as it is only a few minutes walk from the train and bus stations as well as the centre of town and shopping.

I understand that your hotel is more of a business hotel. However, by daughter and I were not there on business (she was moving to Utrecht for 6 months). I therefore did not feel that it was appropriate to charge us business rates during the week with the lower rate only on Saturday and Sunday. In our situation, I feel that we should have paid the lower rate for our entire stay as none of the services you provided changed for us during the week and we did not have a company paying for the bill.

Very handy to Utrecht central station, I had an executive suite and it was very nice and the room service was very good.

The price did not include btw (VAT) or other charges, yet other hotels are all inclusive prices. They provide breakfast at an additional 17.50 euro and rip you off with daylight robbery charges of 17.50 euro for wireless internet. They also do not provide milk in the room and tried to charge for it. If you add the vat charges, breakfast and wireless internet prices on to the bill you can find a clean 2 star hotel in Utrech for 100.00 euro less per night.

I was worried about the noise from the trains as the location was so near to the railway, but I didn't hear them at all. The staff were also very friendly.

There were no tea and coffee making facilities and there wasn't any food available after 11 pm. The standard of the breakfast was poor for the amount of money it cost.
