In Restaurant 'Gusto' one can enjoy the savoury dishes from a Dutch top chef. For a more informal dinner guests can pay a visit to the 'Brasserie', where they can order a light meal or a nice drink. Restaurant 'Gusto' is open daily from 18:00 to 22:00 h.

At approximately 1 kilometre from NH Waalwijk lies the beautiful nature area 'de Loonse en Drunense Duinen', which is a good area to go walking, bike riding, or horse riding. The fairy-tale theme park 'De Efteling' and safari park 'De Beekse Bergen' are also nearby. The fortress town Heusden, the Burgundian city Den Bosch and the city of Tilburg are well worth a visit. A boat tour through the unique nature area 'De Biesbosch' is also highly recommended.

- The safe did not work and was not repared. The option was to give my valuable items to the reception (not convenient if you have your laptop and you want to use it). There were no facilities to relax like a swimmingpool, sauna or fitness. They were not serving drinks on the terras which was located in the evening sun. They only served drinks on the terras with lots of wind and shade and with a view on the highway.

- We were extremely disappointed by this hotel.The service was very unfriendly and bad. We were told by the receptionist that this included breakfast upon our arrival. When we checked out we suddenly saw that almost 100 euros were added to our bill
for breakfast and an extra bed that was added to our room.
I specifically asked whether these two things were included in the price and I was told that they were by the receptionist both on the phone and upon arrival.I find this behavior totally unprofessional and very disturbing.
I told the receptionist not to charge my credit card without my permission and she called me on my cell phone to let me know that she will charge my card with or without my approval.
I was speechless and very upset.

- Uitstekend restaurant diner en ontbijt. Prachtige haard in de lobby.
Uiterst vriendelijke benadering van het personeel

- zie eerste item, afgezien van mijn enige negatieve punt hieronder, was het een zeer aangenaam, schoon, prettig hotel, voor een zeer scherpe prijs.
- op nacht van 27 0- 28 nov zten 90 studenten in het hotel die voor heel veel overlast hebben gezorgd. Van 2.00 tot 4.30 hebben wij niet kunnen slapen en moeesten noodgewongen naar een andere kamer, een ROKERSkamer, echt goor, omdat we anders nog langer last hadden van een deel van de studenten die boven onze etage de boel aan het afbreken waren. Het was slecht van het management dat ze niet wisten dat ze zon grote groep studenten hadden geaccepteerd, en de nachtportier wist total neit wat hij ermee aan moest.

- -Bij aankomst een zeer chagerijnige medewerkster achter de balie, echt niet leuk binnenkomen zo!
-Water in bad liep zeer traag weg, dus je stond in een vol bad te douchen. Water werd ook steeds warmer en kouder.
-Erg kleine porties bij de brasserie, terwijl wij toch geen grote eters zijn! Konden zelfs nog een Bossche Bol op na het eten!

- Zeer dicht bij de Efteling, waarbij je de zondagochtendfile kunt ontwijken door de achterliggende weg te pakken naar de Efteling.
Zeer goed alternatief voor Eftelinghotel. Prachtig compleet ontbijtbuffet met hoekje met opstapje! voor de kleine gasten. Mooie inrichting van het hotel, lekker geslapen.

- de aktie waar we gebruikt van hebben gemaakt is ons goed bevallen vr tm zo en zondag tot 17.00 uur
en zelfs gebruik van de mini bar zat erbij .
- vrijdag gemeld dat de wc bril los zat en dat we het stopcontact naast het bed niet konden gebruiken ,doordat er iets in zit.
zaterdag nog een doorgegeven en drijg men pas te horen dat er niemand in huis is om het te maken.
we konden toen wel naar een andere kamer maar het was toen al zaterdag aan de avond dan ga ik echt niet mijn spullen pakken en omhuizen.
jullie hadden natuurlijk ook meteen ons een andere kamer kunnen geven.

- Kamers zijn ruim en netjes. Het ontbijt is heel gevarieerd. Personeel aan de receptie/in het algemeen is vriendelijk.
- Het restaurant van het hotel is duur voor de kwaliteit die men krijgt. Lift heeft de vrijdagavond en zondagmorgen slecht gewerkt. Hebben telkens de trap moeten gebruiken. Ook problemen gehad met de kaart - op vrijdag-en zaterdagavond moest die weer gemagnetiseerd worden.

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst bij receptie en zeer hulpvaardig.
Ontbijt prima en ook gericht op kinderen.
Zeer mooie ontbijtzaal.
Zeer interessant gelegen zowel voor bezoek Efteling, fietstocht naar Loonse en Drunense duinen (fietskaarten in hotel) als stedentrip naar Den Bosch (zeer mooi) als Tilburg (studentenstad) en niet te vergeten het prachtige Heusden. Mits eigen vervoer ben je overal in een kwartiertje. Echt geslaagd en zeker om terug te keren.
