The hotel lies in the old city centre of Zutphen. This Hanseatic city is located along the river IJssel and dates from the Roman period. The hotel combines the 17th century architecture with contemporary styles, and 17th and 18th century art with modern art. The hotel fits right in with the ancient city centre of Zutphen, with its meandering streets and alleys.

You will find Brasserie 6 in one of the wings, an atmospheric meeting place with a fresh and youthful character. The kitchen staff prepare contemporary seasonal dishes. It is also possible to have dinner on the patio.

The St. Walburgis church and the Berkelpoort are to be found in the city centre, the latter of which is part of the city wall. The countryside surrounding Zutphen is also stunning.
