People from the reception had been very nice and friendly. The rooms have been great. Huge bathrooms and nice sized rooms to stay at.; They had a huge christmas party Friday nite - so the bar was closed and due the fact that the hotel was in the countryside and nothing else you could go to, because our children have been sleeping in the hotel room, that was very boring. Service at breakfast was very limited. At least your coffee or tea could be served at the table.

Rooms spacious with nice bathroom but it could do with a door on the loo which is in the bathroom. It would just add to the otherwise quite luxurious modern feel; The restaurant boasts about its quality and it can be very good. However, the third time we ate there there was a change of waitresses in the middle of our meal and we waited more than 40 minutes between the first course and the main course. When the main course arrived it was almost cold. We sent it back and it was just put in the microwave and brought back to us. The steak was then rubbery and no longer rare as ordered. They eventually replaced it, but rather hurriedly, and the food was clearly not as good or carefully prepared as it had been. The bar area is really rather sterile and "ongezellig". Not a place to linger to enjoy a pre- or post-prandial drink. Occasionally you can smell the nearby sewage works!

Ik heb de halve nacht wakker gelegen van ernstig geluidsoverlast van mijn bovenburen en de dienbladen met vuile vaat (om 22:00 op de gang gezet) stonden er om 07:30 nog steeds! Bah!
